Results coming up soon .... after a winter without mega-cats... the spring?

Heritage Underwriting Agency, the specialist London based Lloyd's insurer, will
be announcing their preliminary statement of results for the year ended 31
December 2006, on Wednesday 28 March 2007, rather than on Thursday 29 March 2007
as previously notified.

Finally a tick up. Does't seem to be much stock around and any buys push the price up.

Edit: 37,800 buy that moved the price.

This thread is looking a bit threadbare. Glad to see the the 100p mark has been the floor rather than the ceiling.The fact that the beneficiaries of the placing at 91p have not dashed to take profits is reassuring.

There a lot of growth insurance companies around but not all of them grow. I have a feeling HUA may take longer than I expected to pass the 100p mark. It's already done spectacularly well. I have bought a seedling stake in BPM.(I got the idea from Tom - see previous posting) They specialise in selecting growth insurance companies. The share price is heading north after an initial drop a while back and if it maintains momentum it will soon be back at the floatation price set earlier this year.

I have enough exposure to insurance at the moment Cambo but thanks anyway.
