                       HELPHIRE GROUP PLC ("The Company")

The board of Helphire announces that as a result of an allotment of 10,200 new
ordinary shares of 5pence ("the New Ordinary shares") pursuant to the exercise
of options under the Executive Share Option scheme, application has been made
for admission of the New Ordinary shares to be admitted to the Official List.

It is expected that such admission will become effective on Wednesday 4th June
2003.
