'dontshoot' has resorted to blatant misrepresentation now!
That post is taken from Kibo/GMA (I sold GMA today for a big profit at 0.47p).

NOTE 'dontshoot', if that erroneous post isn't removed immediately it will referred to ADVFN and I'll be asking for your name/address etc to pass to my solicitor.
Pure dishonest manipulation.

Jo

PS. I've copied the page/post. I'll see you in court.

Sells shown as buys, per usual.

Mid-price now up to 0.56p and rising!

Could be the last chance to buy in here under 0.6p

Next week 1.5p+ (up to 3p if they announce the asset disposal).

In the interest of fairness/perspective, has anyone ever emailed a company and had a negative response?

K thanks for that.

Three reasons, in the main Stegrego...

1). More of the general public (patients) get sick, have accidents, etc, etc. Hospitals and doctors surgeries are always busier in bad weather, and the number of house calls increases.

There is a notorious staff shortage problem within the NHS, with the NHS apparently preferring the option of 'locums on demand' to taking on full-time employees with contracts and all the associated problems and responsibilities that go with employing people.

2). More staff (usually salaried) 'skive off' under the 'cover' of the usual excuses associated with bad weather. They still get paid, so often take advantage of the situation. I can assure you of that as an employer myself.

3). Consultants and specialists who travel around, can't always get where they should be, so a more local 'locum consultant' is sometimes drafted in. Similarly, for lesser doctors and nurses who normally travel, but can't. The hospital/surgery may have to revert to any near-living locums they can get.

As many NHS employed doctors and nurses are also on the books of Healthcare Locums and similar, a situation can arise where a doctor can't travel 20 miles to work, but can fill a gap in a nearby hospital, created by bad weather, as a locum. A bit of an anomaly for the NHS (but they probably turn a blind eye to it - only taxpayers money after all).

The future is bright for HLO with the NHS less and less inclined to create full time contracts. They out-source a lot to private hospitals and locum/temp agencies these days.

Can you please explain how bad weather makes them more profits??

Surely if normal staff can't get in, neither can temps!??

Slight tick-down I see on miniscule volume (about £6k only!)

The vast majority seem content to sit tight, like me. I'm now extremely confident this is going to jump up past the 1p mark shortly, despite all the efforts of those vile short-sellers.

Stegrego,
of course I can only 'get the impression', from what I am told! How can I or anyone outside the board be certain?

Completely ridiculous of you to say such a thing. I can only 'read between the lines'. You have to remember this BOD are overly defensive following the scandal perpetrated by the previous board. They are bound to err on the side of caution. They are bound to be more negative than they would probably otherwise be! The RNS is exactly what you would expect in to be under the circumstances - cautious. It also sets the stage for a positive surprise later this month.

My 'impressions' are based on my recent contact/response. Similarly I'm not certain when and who exactly they invoice, just quoting normal and likely practice. I know one thing: they could not have had the full January picture in mid-January! Obviously. So the simple answer is they didn't know, although they will be getting a clearer picture now we're into February.

I have certainly NOT IN ANY WAY contradicted myself, so please don't say I have.

You take a very negatively biased, anti-shareholder view for someone who purports to be on the sidelines. I'm sorry but the negativity of your posts can only imply the obvious.

Thanks for the completely unwarranted attack again.

It is often commone place for TU to update on how the new year is getting on or is likely to progress.

A few bits of the RNS look like current comments to me, such as:

This uncertainty is expected to continue into 2013....
the current uncertainties in demand make Australia a challenging market....

Also you totally contradict what you post.
On the one hand you 'get the impression that things have turned around'
And on the other you say they don't invoice etc and don't have a clue only a few weeks into the month.

So which is it? They do know or don't know?

Hi Graham, yes, but I'll just ask the director at HLO first. It wasn't marked 'P&C' so I think it will be fine, but I'll check first. Even so I don't want breach any confidences or to ruin my chances of getting further reponses, so I won't publish it openly on here, please understand.
Neither of us are 'blues' so you'll have to put an eMail address up on here for a few minutes. Perhaps this evening - I'll let you know when exactly later.

Jo

Stegrego,
Not so at all
(...how you can claim not to be a short-seller with the comments you make is beyond belief. Give us credit for some intelligence please!)

Again, I repeat not so. Last weeks update referred (and was CLEARLY STATED to refer) to the period ending December 2012. They can't give an indication of what happened in January half way through January!
You clearly don't know how big companies operate. They don't usually do annuals and interims until 6 months AFTER the event. As for monthly... they probably don't even invoice the NHS until the end of the month!
It would take at least 2 - 3 weeks after a given month end to collate a macro management report encompassing all the divisions (some of which are 10,000 miles away for goodness sake!).

Accordingly what you say about updating the market on January's trading whilst STILL IN JANUARY, is I'm afraid complete baloney and nonsense. You need to learn how companies operate. You also need to admit you are what you are: a vile, despicable short-seller... the worst type: one who won't admit to it. Very few admit to such an abhorred occupation.

We'll get an update, I'm sure in the middle of February (although they're not obliged to provide one and only usually update the market every several months). On this occasion, however, to instil confidence, I think they will do an update on trading over the past few weeks. Things I believe will have improved considerably, and continue to improve.
