Posted at 23/3/2015 13:28 by skyship We all (possibly just the two of us here of course!) missed the fact that HAV has been suspended ahead of a major acquisition.According to Friday's IC the deal is a £1bn reverse takeover for British Car Auctions. The way to get in is through MVI which holds a 4.8% stake in HAV; a holding which sits alongside its major holding in ETO. At the moment MVI's NAV/share = 296p/share versus the offer price of 206p - so a very handy 30%... ==================== 16 March 2015 Haversham Holdings plc Response to press speculation The Board of Haversham notes recent press speculation concerning the possibility of Haversham making a substantial acquisition. The Board confirms that Haversham is in very advanced discussions which might lead to a transaction which would constitute a reverse takeover pursuant to AIM Rule 14. In accordance with the AIM Rules, trading in Haversham's ordinary shares has been suspended pending conclusion of these discussions.
