Agree Andycarr, think this has definately turned the corner. Nice 300k to start the day off. 95% of trades recently have been buys. Could expect another tick up today.

Looking at the 1 min chart that fingers xxd posted.. I wonder if we have seen an intraday double bottom at 1p support...?

Nice to see the tick up today on a generally down day on the rest of the market.. onward and upwards!

Another tick up, Bid now increased 1.05, steady as she goes. Results could be out any time from next Tuesday.
Re-read the 2003 final results and an interesting point was the 14 weeks turnover to Jan 04 increased by 0.8pct. This taking account of the disposals (which accounted for 2.5mil) was encouraging.

The Board of Hartford Group Plc is pleased to announce the appointment of
Christopher David Poil BA, AIMR as a non-executive director, with immediate
effect.


Christopher Poil, aged 39, has 14 years experience in the Investment Management
Industry. Christopher was a Director of Mercury Asset Management and most
recently Head of UK Equities at ING Baring Asset Management.


His experience with smaller companies, the finance industry, and corporate
governance will be of significant benefit to the Board, as Hartford continues
its development into a profitable, drinks-led licensed retailer.


The directorships held by Christopher, over the five years preceding the date of
appointment, are as follows:


Current : None.
Previous : ING Baring Asset Management Ltd.


There are no other matters which are required to be announced pursuant to
paragraph (f) of Schedule 2 to the AIM Rules.



Commenting on the Board appointment, Stephen Thomas, Chairman of Hartford, said:

Streaming 10 x DAY - 1 x MINUTE movement chart to
monitor the 1.00p 'support' level in more detail ..

BigCharts has a 15 x minute delay, and plots the actual
traded prices of buys/sells, and therefore provides more
detail than ADVFN's chart which plots the mid price.

Hi Goldent.. looks like it's not only you and I speculating that HAR could be bottoming here.. another 200,000 trade just shown from earlier. I am looking to top up again if the downtrend is broken decisively.

Good solid support on L2.. all MM's now on 1p

E-mailed Urvashi re the interims. Received a prompted reply, the interims will be released within the first 10 days of June. Also asked about future expansion, whether there are any plans either by aquisition or organic. This will be answered in the interims.

agreed, op. profit from ongoing business was 265k the main loss was in the disposal, with these bars now gone, onward & upward.

looking at others in this sector PNB,URM,etc, I think we will get some good
news when news comes (HAR dont say much).Looking at URM, they stated recently
"demand in London has been stronger than in 2003."
If this is true,and given the recent surgery at HAR ( Pharmacy and Dakota )then we should be able to see at least "in line with expectations" appearing shortly,which in itself should mean maiden profit.
