12/11/2018 14:55 | The guidance of $300 - $400 million was for the full year debt reduction. Most of the debt was due to reduce in the second half so my guess is for a reduction of around $250 million. We started with £2.7 billion debt so I'm going for $2.45 billion in Thursday's update. With a full year expectation of just over $400 million debt reduction - because of the higher oil price - giving us a end of year debt of just under $2.3 billion. | hoper2
12/11/2018 14:53 | Surely it's the over hang of 27 million share placed on market on the 3rd October which has caused the share price drop.Once over hand is out the way the share price should rise againHopeing Thursday we get a bumper update! | markymar
12/11/2018 14:51 | maybe Marv's been right all along.... | deanroberthunt
12/11/2018 14:34 | If I remember correctly, guidance was debt reduction of 300-400m with oil at $65. Given the averages we've had this second half, I dare to dream that we'll be at the upper end of that, if not above (420m might be a signal for the market to chill out a bit) What will that mean for the share price? Knowing my luck, we'll probably be back down in the 80s listening to DBNO bragging :( | kaisharp
12/11/2018 13:51 | need a big chunk paid off that debt.... | deanroberthunt
12/11/2018 13:42 | The downward pressure from these damn algos is absolutely relentless, seemingly regardless of what the oil price does Whether its shorters, tracker funds or genuine sellers PMO seems genuinely out of favour at the moment Hopefully Thursday will re-assure the market | nav_mike
12/11/2018 12:50 | not enough newsflow. | deanroberthunt
12/11/2018 08:27 | Gonna be one of those days where shorts are working hard to supress any decent rise - lets hope theres sufficient buying interest to stop them. 104 seems to be the battleground at the moment | nav_mike

11/11/2018 20:52 | Politics I hate it must say as it highlights where we disagree and not what we agree on . Returning to Premier and many UK energy stocks I spotted an obvious bullish RSI divergence on most this weekend . Ophir , Tullow , Enquest etc . So higher low on RSI but lower low on price of stock . Usually the further away from the 200 moving the more reliable . I have quants to thank for this data . Now I bought in on Friday on monthly support , even a week or so ago a penny more expensive . So if this weekend's OPEC's cuts stories are true it may have been a well timed turning point . As for politics we just won't agree . I can list numerous examples but it won't change anything. I will forever be anti EU . And I can vote for ,touch wood many decades to come . Remember the original vote was for a common market not a political union . Best part of all Junker despises the British and regular people a drunk and a wannabe dictator . The statement he made on Austria's rejecting the UN's migration policy was so telling . I won't agree with remainers . All the smearing and project fear nonsense and all tv channels on your side , lily Allen , Geldorf etc in fact reinforce my views that am on the right side . | onedb1
11/11/2018 20:44 | England has become one of the most densely populated countries on earth... glad I live in Wales. We got a lot of sheep, though! lol | bgwesley |
