05/11/2017 07:23 | I've been looking again at the stock-on-loan position here over the last 2 years. From Nov15 to Oct16 SoL was around 5-8% (Avg 6.7%). Dec16 to Feb17 SoL was 16%. (Nov16 average was 12.2%) Mar to Oct17 SOL has averaged 28.4%. If we look back at newsflow; In Nov16 It was announced there would be around 90MM warrants issued to debt holders - the SoL increased by around 9% (around 45MM shares) In Mar17, the new terms for the CB's were announced effectively increasing the number of shares that could result from conversion from 35MM to almost 260MM. The SoL increased by around 12% - or 60MM shares. It looks as if around 50% of the warrants were shorted, and just under 50% of the revised potential CB shares. If you look back further it seems the 7% SoL two years ago was almost the same as the potential shares from the CB's at that time. So perhaps there is method to their (apparent) madness...! | steve73

05/11/2017 06:52 | Eeeeeee.... isn't it exciting Marge!Oil @ $62bbl and rising, PMO knocking out 80k bod with Catcher adding up to another 30k. Tolmount in advanced wip and the huge 25% interest in Kama with possible reserves of up to 1.8bn bbo. Not to mention the Falkland field........and even Solan is looking better with the poo going up.......and........ | badger60
05/11/2017 04:27 | Yep.... it's starting to kick off, and highlights how vunerable to attack SA's oil reserves are in such an unstable and volatile area, and it's no wonder that the West wants no part of the Aramco deal. I read somewhere that the Saudis need $90+bbl to balance the books. Their $ reserves must be very depleted hence the urgency re. Aramco...Take this away and all that you're left with a very expensive kitty litter sand pit...... that's not even on the F1 calendar....... When you factor in Venezuela, $100+bbo is not out of the question...... and sooner rather than later..... .......I still can't understand why the Muppets are hedging PMO warrants by shorting stock for such a derisory return....... ????? | badger60
