Hi user47. Am in same position. The voting forms are unclear. The inclusion of an investor code implies they are only expecting it's to vote. But pi's like you and I have significant holdings.I fired off an email to capitaservices. Will let you know. On previous occasions hl and their ilk let you participate and use your votes but on payment of small admin fee of £25 since our shares often held in nominee accounts.

Leon, I am a little confused what I can do and what I cannot, with regards to voting.
I have presently over 500,000 shares with Hargreaves Lansdown, how do i get to vote, can you do it through the broker, Hargreaves Lansdown. I trade through an online account and just receive electronic contracts. How many votes can I give with this amount of shares ?
The form asks for some Investor code but not sure where i get that from.
Any help would be appreciated, so i can do my bit to vote.
Thanks in advance.

Yanks sell down oil again for what reason exactly?

So so frustrating....all the data this week has been positive, yet no upside for oil

Hi Beg. Voted you up. Fair enough on the frustration point. I have printed my proxy form and will be voting in favour.

Anyone else get the feeling that the 'market' is not a market defined anymore by the simple purpose of supply and demand... but which way the largest funds want a price to go...

No idea why they have turned so negative on oil, but if the price cant hold its gains after an 8m+ draw, what the hell will make them happy?

More realistically, I think its just a case of the hedge funds deciding they want it lower, so down we go

Hello how may I direct your call?
"Oh yes hello. Um, the advisory team, please. If you don't mind. Please".
One moment...

"Steve, yes hello this is Tony".

"Um, Tony Durrant".

"No sorry um, Tony Durrant. From Premier".
Tony! My old mucker. Yes mate how's things?
"Well, it's the share price Steve. You had told us...."
For chrissake Tony how many more times? It's the market. Temporary.
"Well yes but the bore is IR are saying they're fielding some rather difficult calls"
Tony. Mate. D'you want this financing or not because if not...
"No! No! No! OK! Fine. I mean, yes. OK. Gosh".
Tony mate. Gotta go. Lunch soon 'kay?

Let's hope it's not a TD definition of an extended period or we will all be on renewable energy by then...

Someone on LSE apparently found this in the warrants circular, and it rather confirms my thinking that we are tied up in this mess until the warrants are issued:

(Apologies for formatting, his original message was all over the shop)

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Holders of equity interests in Premier may adopt hedging strategies which would negatively affect the price of the Ordinary Shares As part of the Refinancing, Premier will issue Equity Warrants and Convertible Warrants representing in aggregate up to 18 per cent. of Premier’s issued share capital on a Fully Diluted Basis.

As the Equity Warrants and Convertible Warrants may be exercisable at a price below
the prevailing share price at issue, there is an increased probability that warrant holders will undertake hedging or other trading strategies which may result in volatility and/or a reduction in Premier’s share price for an extended period.

Furthermore,as a result of the amendment of the conversion price for the convertible
bonds from £4.21 to 74.71 pence, the number of Ordinary Shares underlying the convertible bonds will increase to 30 per cent of Premier’s issued share capital on a Fully Diluted Basis and also accounting for Ordinary Shares issuedon
conversion.

Convertible bondholders often employ hedging or other trading strategieswhich,
if employed in this case, may result in volatility and/or a reduction in Premier’s share price for an extended period.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

So what constitutes an 'extended period' ?

It is quite clear that many posters on this thread would rather only read fluffy ramps than any worrying trends/statistics and Steve73 is a gent to run this thread so I'll fall back into the shadows and post less.

Rogk

So you think they bought 26 million shares that day?

Really?

Were you not aware they were holding just below 5% before they topped up?

Come on now, if you want to debate things openly, which I'm happy to do, you do need to at least make a token effort at researching what you are posting.

Scott Spirit on its way to Solan just about on time so Production looks like its holding up to the expected rate.

And the Brent Chart updated in the header.

We should see a bit of an upturn today after yesterdays fiasco.
