15/3/2017 07:24 | Hi pineside I thought debt would reduce at 45 or 50 dollars a barrelIf oil slips lower than this and OPEC cartel fall apart oil will drop below this and debt will not fall .Can some one clarify this ? | s34icknote
15/3/2017 07:14 | Good news, everyone is locked in now. So the uncertainty will for the most part be lifted, just get the CBH at 72p out the way, then it's onwards and upwards.OPEX is $15 a barrel I think. We are passed peak debt, it will only be coming down from here. How fast it comes down will depend on the oil price but it will be coming down regardless. | pineside
15/3/2017 01:52 | Thanks KevJ2 - your post (..575) seemed to have worked..!! Well - the VWAP is now well under it's target at 61.5 after a pretty high volume day of 14.9 MM shares with the daily VWAP of 54.9. There must have been plenty of trades during that afternoon dip. It'll be interesting now to see if the shorting CBH's are satisfied with their fortnight's works, or will the "other" shorters now take over.? Clearly there is no further benefit for the CBH's driving the price lower - you could argue that it is now detrimental for them as they would maximize their profits by selling their shares when (if) thy do convert at the highest possible price. So today we should find out if the low oil-price bears will win out over the CBH's. Great buying opportunity yesterday for those of you with Iron balls (apologies to any females here). | steve73
