Harbour Energy PLC has reported an increase in operating costs per barrel for the first half, citing lower production volumes compared with the first half of 2020 as well as sterling strengthening against the dollar.
"The increase in operating costs per barrel is largely due to lower production volumes compared to the comparative period and was also impacted by the strengthening of UK Sterling against the US Dollar," the oil-and-gas company said.
The oil-and-gas company posted field operating costs per barrel of $15.6, up from $10.2 last year.
Sterling last trades at $1.3719.
