My above post refers specifically to the rns announcement about the MoU with Engie, announced a few days ago.

The headline reads well.But as you digest the rns, it's quite clear that everything is just speculative and that this is just an agreement, which at the moment has no particular asset in mind, and offers no ideas about when or what they intend to do next.It just feels like a shallow piece of non-News aimed at boosting sentiment.They make no mention of what the agreement is for.The way it reads:"Peter and Paul have decided to agree with eachother that they are goung to look for something to buy into, but as yet have no idea what they want or where they're going to look, or how much they will spend."Not wanting to put a damper on the rise, but feel if they were going to make this announcement, they shouldve had as acquisition in mind, or be nearing completion of a specific asset/license/business to tell you about..

News this morning shows that finally corporate action is in hand and steam
ahead now the order of the day, but I suspect a short delay then a pack of

Hague ruling lifts oil exploration firms

The ruling raised investors’ hopes that Philex Petroleum can finally push through its exploration off the West Philippine Sea, Victor F. Felix, equity analyst at AB Capital Securities, Inc., said in a telephone interview.

The Manuel V. Pangilinan-led company, through its London-listed unit Forum Energy Plc, holds an exploration permit covering the Reed Bank. The Department of Energy suspended operations within the disputed area in March 2015, as the Philippines pursued international arbitration.
