Brownie, I have him filtered, but if he is saying anything disparaging to the company, it should be notified to GVC investor relations.That would force a statement which would clear up any such matters and perhaps land the person uttering it with a very expensive libel suit.ADVFN have, on several occasions, released the names, addresses and IP addresses of those involved in a libel suit, as they are required by law to do so.

Ditto. I had top sliced a few at 750p and I'm prepared to put it all back in.
Although I cant believe this idiot with his amateur scare tactics and lack of reasoned debate can do anything long term. None of his deramping affects the cash generation going on at GVC one jot. Someones going to make a killing here and its going to be us!

Shorting scum are filtered, so what I'm actually doing is moving 50% of my savings account into my share dealing account, so that when I'm satisfied this cloud is passed by, I'll have have a hell of a lot more shares in GVC.

Why out if the tendd of thousands of financial directors out there, has the company come to the conclusion, thst it us fitting to employ a msn who previously presided over the financial operations of the most dubious and hated company in Britain.

The company has been repeatedly fined and forever hauled over the coals in parliament for practises that are almost criminal.

Even though Richard Cooper has gone I believe he continues to hold all his shares.
We have seen these attacks before. Remember it went to £3.80!
This CO. has always performed in an exploratory manner, & Kenny is the king of his game, as we know.
They have not let shareholders down.
Why would you think anything has changed. If it had, we would have had an RNS.
The last one was very positive so treat this as a buying opportunity.
Just my opinion.

He was at RSA and Phoenix before Wonga, he was only part
of it from 2014 and was brought in as part of the restructuring
team.

Interesting to see the rythm of the shorting process over the last few hours...

. Sustained selling in morning then a holding position around 692p but these are still close to the underside of a couple of meaingful support points that have been breached intraday. . .

Since just after 11:00am until as I post candlesticks show there has been sustained buying at these SP's driving back up to 694p at one point. But after each buying spree, selling recommences after each upswing returning the share price back to the 692p's.

Big shorters algo's in action?

. . At the moment dare I say it, they appear to be just using funds as necessary to bat down any rise rather than heavily sell short to reduce further today.

I'm still holding to the view these support price areas will tempt buyers. The shorters need the whole market in GVC to buy into bad news and there isn't any yet. So unless they can get market support on the bear side, buyers could overwhelm the shorters budget. Without market consensus of poor fundamentals further retraces will have to be paid for out of the shorters pockets.

It certainly hasn't helped Nurdin. Why jump ship now, with the excitement of having a ftse250 company.It could all be perfectly legitimate and he wants a bigger challenge or it could be a bit dubious. Who knows. What we do know is that it causes uncertainty.I mean Wonga of all companies! The mind boggles

SrpActive, they won't give you a reasoned debate or any semblance of sensible basis for what they spout. They have none to give.If, like me, you are not convinced by the scaremongering then it is best to filter them, as I have.... its blissful.You see, if they are correct, they are correct, nothing I can do about it, but I won't have to listen to their drivel in the meantime.If they are wrong, as they all have been over the years, then GVC will simply progress on to the next level and we will continue to benefit.

Fest I agree, Richard has been absolutely amazing and played a huge pivotial role in getting GVC to where they are now.But for that to be replaced by a Wonga FD creates uncertainty and we know what the Market thinks about uncertainty.Surely they could have attracted better talents than from a socially corrupt, law bending company.

Yiu have done your research which has prompted you to invest.

As with Quindell, Globo, Monitise, Tyratech, and Nanoco, I have dine mine. My due dilligance and scources tell me this is not all it seems. As with all other short plays, all will be revealed in due course.

Keeping ones cards close to ones chest keeps you ahead if the game.
