Why only 900p, why not ten quid?

Good movement today and over the past few days. Nice to think we might break through the high we reached last October.

To mix my metaphors is it now safe to say: normal service is now resumed?

Benjamin Franlin said there were only two certainties in life, death and taxes. I think that needs amending to include gambling.

Now diesel cars are not certainties just transistional events in life that come and then go. Gambling is with us for good, as are death and taxes!

Should have added we are closing in on 750p.

You seem to ignore the tax that governments raise from regulated gaming. It's exactly the same IMO as tobacco, a golden goose that is far too valuable to kill off.

Well regulation is punted into the long grass for 6 more months which can only be a good thing. Secondly, GVCs exposure to the fall out from regulations on FOBT is minimal due to our online presence. Thirdly, people have banged on about regulation impacting gvc for years now, especially with our grey market presence. If anything the group is far more diversified than ever before, so a regulatory upheavel in the UK or elsewhere will have a greater impact on our rivals.

Momentum building nicely over the last few days. Hopefully a strong run towards 760-780 by the time the capital markets day arrives. Still havent derisked from here...

Why does everyone think this is just going to carry on going up and up .? The triennial review is delayed until October and is having a serious effect on the likes of William hills share price with analyst predicting dire consequences for the gambling sector .Whats to say on Line casinos will get regulated as well .I see on line casinos far more dangerous to the problem gambler than fixed odds betting terminals in your local William hill.No one can hear you scream sat on the sofa in your living room losing thousands on roulette yet there is someone to help in William hill ,on line casinos may face regulation Imo.

TUES: Things coming to a head most rewardingly. Was hoping for the end of April to close in the high end of 740's. . . . With 3 days to go, it's looking right on cue, maybe (bonus) even surpassed!

. . . . . - Then it's on to what may be the best single month to date for share price appreciation - May!

So another month to wait before the next trading update, which is a shame as we need some news to give the share price a boost. I must say I thought the increase in Standard Life's holding to over 12% might have helped us to break upwards, but it was not to be.
