market would love a Pharma MergerToday

in my opinion
both companies are doing a great job i think a merger will benefit both sides
i dont think any cash will be involved but paper stock
huge benefits for both sides

a 100 % paper merger will be welcomed by the world StockMarkets
i feel that both stocks can gap up 15-25%

bearing in mind that pharma stocks did not make any headway in the last few weeks of the stock market ROCKET UP PERFORMANCE

They will need to catch up
I think AZN will open over £10 with Gilead Stocks Opening over $100 in NewYork

I WONDER IF THE SHORTERS WILL GET COUGHT OUT

If AZN are after Gilead, other major pharma co's will want them too and may likely join the party for a potential bidding frenzy.

Either way, Gilead are set to pop tomorrow.

HI QP. Que pasa con tigo? Just bought in recently at $90.7 but think there are regulatory concerns about pricing. I like the story but it seems to be struggling to make headway. The only good day so far is when the Dow had a huge jump. You still holding?

Gilead Sciences Inc.

Their new blockbuster drug, Sovaldi, for the treatment of Hepatitis C has been endorsed by UK regulators and recommends that the NHS pays for treatment.

Sovaldi was approved in the USA in December. And has pulled in in up to $5billion in sales during the first half of the year.

It is believed to be the biggest selling prescription drug launch ever.

Share prices has surged from $60 per share to $102 over the last year.
