05/10/2022 07:53 | Glaxo Wellcome (GW) and SmithKline Beecham (SB) joined forces at the end of 2000. The £114 billion merger created a giant with an estimated global market share of 7% of the world pharmaceutical market. In over 20 years since then, how much has the company added value to the business? | tradermichael

27/9/2022 10:31 | Interesting everyone keeps thinking sterlings pathetic collapse is so fantastic for U.K. listed usd earners…yet the shares in these companies keep tanking. Why is that? Well because nobody, no funds foreign or domestic want to load up with an asset ( shares ) denominated in a devaluing currency. DUH. | porsche1945
27/9/2022 07:59 | Just as plausible both PFE and GSK saw the plunge in Haleon immediately post IPO listing, realised the market was going through a bout of weakness, and that any SALES by themselves would see the share price plunge even further, and decided to hold off for when calm returned to the stockmarket. Only a fool(or someone desperate) sells a large stake into a falling market, especially when the market already knows they are likely a "seller" See Gold and Gordon Brown's disastrous telegraphing of UK's gold sales. Gold price plummeted before he started selling because they all expected him to be selling because he said he would be! | geckotheglorious
27/9/2022 07:01 | Jeepers they really were deluded! | paul planet earth
27/9/2022 05:51 | They probably thought that following the demerger and listing there would be a bidding war that would be higher than ULVR's offer. | tradermichael
26/9/2022 21:43 | Anyone know why GSK and Pfizer hung onto 45% of Haleon shares with a overhang which expires in November. Looks like they thought there would be some upside following the IPO but looks like a terrible decision, yet another one judging by the share price. | paul planet earth |
