Sanofi & GSK have signed a letter of intent to enter into a collaboration to develop an adjuvanted vaccine for COVID 19. Using innovative technology from both companies.

GSK has announced plans to collaborate with China's Xiamen Innovex on a potential vaccine to treat the COVID 10 coronavirus, (COVID-19 XWG-03)

AZ, GSK and Cambridge University will set up a COVID-19 testing centre.

Post-Brexit stockpiles of medical supplies have been “used up entirely” due to the coronavirus pandemic, according to a warning from the UK’s pharmaceutical industry.
The memo warns that, compared to 2019, when significant stockpiling for a potential no-deal Brexit last occurred, the pandemic means that there will be “less or zero product available to allow for stockpiling a broad range of products.”

I think GSK will look like a bargain to a US suitor if mergers and acquisitions are going to occur. Interesting day ahead tomorrow for big pharma shares.

Like most here I hold both, bought as equal holdings which are far from equal now. Azn star of show and I hope it’s not about to stumble, although CEO is brilliant. There must be big savings that could be made by mergers and suspect market will like the prospect. Hopefully GSK glows in the possibilities if not the action.
