15/11/2016 11:58 | There is no reason in my view to think that mere politicians make any difference to shares. Yet another of those small investor fallacies I think. The kind of comment you see on bulletin boards like this or written by journalists who ought to know better but have to fill up their columns with something. As far as investing in shares is concerned, who cares who the president is. | anhar

09/11/2016 12:37 | Talk is cheap TM. Haven't you noticed that when GSK (or any share) is falling, you see messages saying it's going down to X, where X is some way below the current price. And vice versa when it's rising, people saying it must go to X where X is well above the current price. It's all yet another example in the huge encyclopedia of false small investor beliefs. Almost every time, as if the market is uncannily, knowingly, trying to show up these comments for the bull they are, the share rarely hits the targets in the time concerned. Nobody knows where any share is headed. That's why people mostly can't make money by trading on such views. | anhar
09/11/2016 09:32 | Keep talking, I like that! | tradermichael
09/11/2016 09:06 | wow going to get back to £20 mark over the coming year on USA news. More spend on healthcare, with the low pound this stock could be in for a real upside re-rate. | blueteam

08/11/2016 12:45 | Needed two of my inhalers this morning, GSK to the rescue once again ). Thought we were looking a little oversold here. | essentialinvestor
08/11/2016 11:33 | Madison, Wisconsin-based Propeller Health, maker of several smart inhaler sensors and companion apps, has received FDA 510(k) clearance for its latest offering – a sensor that works with GlaxoSmithKline̵ This marks the company’s eighth FDA clearance, and was born out of a partnership the company struck up with GSK last December. Given Propeller's growing familiarity with the process, the company said the development-to-clear | tradermichael
07/11/2016 13:56 | AW has flagged up governmental budgetary concerns and insurer pressure on pricing for years now. The bulk of GSK's strategy is higher volume with lower margin, there are exceptions like Nucala. | essentialinvestor
07/11/2016 13:44 | Yes always nice, but loss of capital does not make up for that. I just fear for pharmas if Clinton gets in and its looks like 99% she will. | montyhedge
07/11/2016 11:00 | Monty where is your old mantra for GSK. Let me remind you."paycheque falling on the mat every few months". It is still the case is it not? | jadeticl3
07/11/2016 10:28 | Monty,You are stating the same on the AZN thread, and you have sold your AZN,and are now shorting.Do you think your statements will move AZN,or GSK ? | garycook
07/11/2016 09:42 | Amazed pharma's gone up on a Clinton win, it's like turkeys voting for Christmas. She will slaughter drug companies. | montyhedge
07/11/2016 08:23 | I think you are right EI - Clinton is 1:5 although I wasn't a customer of Paddy Power and they have an intro offer of 4:1 - so I am now a customer! | toffeeman
07/11/2016 07:48 | I'm guessing they will not be available cheaper today!. Clinton in the price surely, if not then it's an opportunity imv. | essentialinvestor
07/11/2016 00:53 | Monty,Have you sold your holding in AZN.I believe Clinton.s victory is already priced into GSK,and the £2 drop from recent high,s. | garycook
05/11/2016 15:27 | If GSK would like to fall again on Monday it would be appreciated, 15.18 was my lowest buy yesterday. Read through the Q3 earnings call trasnscript/Q&A, furture looks bright to me, but still a work in progress. | essentialinvestor
05/11/2016 12:16 | I would expect the Q dividend to be rebased to around 1i-14 pence a share with the new CEO, just IMV. A dividend taking about 60-65% of FCF looks about right to me. | essentialinvestor
04/11/2016 18:13 | It was 19p but if you just clicked Financials in the menu above you could have seen that straight away | daveofdevon |
