30/6/2004 21:50 | That's true. I am not sure. If I was sure then the whole process would be easy. A retracement may be due. It would help consolidate the price and give a bit more support. It clearly can't just go up forever in a straight line. I have very few of these so I am content to let it ride. It is not the sort of investment that I ma looking to cash in for a few years yet. I am pleased by the progress that the company is making so I will just hold. I mainly trade stocks, but this is one of my longer term investments. | haystack
30/6/2004 21:42 | That's ironic Haystack as you did say in post 841, I am not sure if it will hold at this level. | james leigh
30/6/2004 21:22 | That's possible, but very unlikely as this is not traded heavily and there has been continued buying interest. I would guess that many holders have had this since it was several times this price and are in it now for the more longer term. It does seem to be a good long term business. | haystack
30/6/2004 21:01 | A small retrace will probably see a stampeed of sells as investors hurry to lock in profits. Possible fall of say 20% could be on the cards. | james leigh
30/6/2004 17:47 | "Accordingly we anticipate that the outcome for the current financial year will be ahead of market expectations." | nickk1
30/6/2004 16:21 | I am not sure if it will hold at this level. It may dip a bit on profit taking. I expect it to go up further in the medium term though. | haystack
30/6/2004 16:18 | Doesn't take a lot of volume to move this one ... must be very tightly held. £35k is enough to move this up over 10% so it's hard to guage what this stock's real level is as when those £35k worth of buys sell their holding it then falls 10%. Major rollercoaster ... too scary for me with their balance sheet ... but good on those that are profiting. | technet
30/6/2004 13:47 | And it has broken above 70p. | haystack
30/6/2004 08:32 | Up already today. | haystack
30/6/2004 08:13 | NBT looks about to break out above 70p now. | haystack
30/6/2004 05:09 | agincourt - lol | oswd
30/6/2004 00:16 | oswd, I think I'm beginning to get your subtle message about NBT. Now be a good chap and bog off. 8-) Anyone got anything new to say about NBT? CM. | cheshiremoggie
30/6/2004 00:11 | Haystack - 12 Mar'04 - 10:16 - 4583 of 4583 "Don't forget that this is a BB, it is not real life. In fact it is more a form of entertainment really......." "When I have sensible things to say about a stock I never post it on a BB. What would be the point? BBs are for entertainment and...." | agincourt
29/6/2004 23:47 | oswd Yes. You have posted all that old tosh before and the share price still goes up. | haystack
29/6/2004 21:58 | Hanging on by a finger from the cliff top, one slip and its..lol! | oswd
29/6/2004 19:35 | WINS likely to move down, could be the start of an avalanche. | oswd
29/6/2004 19:31 | I'm not an Accountant, but that post imo does not look good for NBT. | oswd
29/6/2004 19:29 | This quality post from an Accountant (not sure I know him ...lol!) NBT once again haystack you are showing your complete ineptitude. Read and interpret the balance sheet and financial statements properly. I will give you a lesson in basic analysis for free....pay attention : It has net assets of £1.9m as at 31st December 2003 But look at what its made up of. £1.8m of intagibles ...... assets that you cant see.. goodwill which is eventually written off. £224k of tangibles..... these are the REAL assets. £1.7m of cash. £2.7m of debt Now do some simple maths. Net Tangible assets ? = its negative to the tune of £776,000 (thats right NEGATIVE). It had NET DEBT of £1m (not net cash but net debt) However, that cash has been depleted now by the assetless acquisition.. which means cash will be down by £1.4m. Hence leaving the company with only £300k. But lets put in the net assets of the company they have acquired into the equation which is £146,000. So new variables are : £370k of tangibles £300k of cash £2.7m of debt So NTAV = - £2m.. yes NEGATIVE (so its more than doubled since the acquisition) Net Debt = £2.7m not net cash (again this has nearly trebled). You keep talking about them making a profit. You are very easily fooled arent you. A profit is only good if the company has net cash inflow. NBT has net cash outflow. Its all very good boasting cash generation. But what good is that if the net result is that net flow is an outflow of cash ? Also, they are issuing nearly 3million new shares.. which is an 18% increase in the issued share capital. Existing shareholders will be diluted. It seems Haystack you need to get hold of a basic accounting book and read up on interpreting financial statements the proper way instead of making things up and falling for management talk and the spin that is given out in RNSs. What do you think Haystack?. | oswd
29/6/2004 18:38 | LOL ! GOING DOWN and heading for 9p. | oswd
29/6/2004 18:18 | oswd LOL You are desperate for this to go down. The MMs only moved up today. Looking at the chart, it is more likely to break out above 70p! | haystack
29/6/2004 16:56 | WINS likely to move down, could be the start of an avalanche. | oswd
29/6/2004 16:40 | WINS on the bid...Lol!!!!!!!!!!! | oswd
29/6/2004 16:27 | oswd Yes. The MMs are exactly as they were a few hours ago when you posted that at 12:40. All three MMs rose to this level and have not dropped or moved in any way since then! One sell of 5k, but don't forget the 46k of BUYS. LOL | haystack |
