    RESULT OF GENERAL MEETING AND TRANSACTION UPDATE

    At the general meeting of Griffin Group plc (the "Company") held today, all resolutions were passed, including those in connection with
the acquisition of the entire issued share capital of Alexander David Holdings Limited and the disposal of the entire issued share capital
of Griffin Group Holdings Limited (together, the "Transaction").

    As mentioned in the announcement of 30 October 2008, the Transaction is subject to approval by the FSA of the change of control of
Alexander David Securities and of Griffin Corporate Finance, and will not complete until such approval is forthcoming. Approval has yet to
be granted by the FSA. The Transaction should complete within five working days of such approval being granted, and shareholders will be
kept appraised of developments and of the timetable to completion as soon as further detail is available.
