02/2/2013 10:01 | Not sure what to make of the large trades yesterday, indicated as 'sells' but all above the 'bid' price and no fall in the share price | azalea
24/1/2013 08:18 | I held INDI for a short while and sold with a profit circa 2 years ago. To my cost I totally understimated the value placed on the reserves of a company in debt and running at a loss. I hope to make much more this time round with GEEC, which I see as another INDI as it was a few years ago. Better still, GEEC is running at a handsome profit. | azalea
23/1/2013 23:45 | As you say Azalea, GEEC are trading at a large discount to NAV so could move up from here if they can deliver improved results and sell their story a little better. I come to feel a bit disillusioned with some of these Indian co's, very poor IR. They grabbed a UK listing but isolated themselves thereafter. I've traded INDI a couple of times when they've broken out but never held for long as I did not really understand how to value them! Good luck Dibbs | dibbs
21/1/2013 08:32 | Latest update reports that HI production at Raniganj(South Block) increased by 17.84% to 14.73mmscfd and is on target to reach its projected exit production for 30/6/13. At this rate FY production level should exceed the 24.1mmscfd given in the IC 'Buy' Recc. | azalea
16/1/2013 08:38 | Dibbs I shall wait for the update next month. In In its buy recc 29/10, the IC quoted Arden Partners as having increased NAV estimates from 564p to 646p. Its "Mannagudi Block has an estimated original gas in place reserves of 980bn cuft, which is in addition to the 2.35 trillion cuft at the Raniganj Block ". Indi Gas has only recently returned a profit yet its share price is circa 1000p. Its latest figure on P2 reserves ia 573Bn cuft. According to Morningstar, INDI pe is 1557. GEEC pe -90. | azalea
16/1/2013 00:43 | Looks like a bit of an uphill battle to me Azalea. Few of these Indian companies are attracting much investor interest these days, look at the average daily volume here! A few years ago there was a flurry of Indian and Chines companies listing on AIM but very few have delivered good returns and I think investors have become wary. The devaluing of the Rupee has weighed on earnings too. Assuming they earn 10.53p in 2014 that's a forward PE of 25! Of course a contrarian could argue that this is the time to buy! Good luck, I hope I'm wrong and they turn you a healthy profit. Dibbs | dibbs
11/1/2013 17:39 | After a period of inactivity, a slight nibble today of 1500 @ 267p. I expect an update next month. Worth recapping. 52wk range 230 -333p. 9/1/2012 completed a modest 1.5m (2.5%)rights issue @ 556p. 2012 H1 returned a $4m profits(loss $4.9m). broker forecasts( FY ending March) 2013 ptx £ 6.5m eps 4.47p. 2014 " £15.67m " 10.53p | azalea
15/11/2012 12:34 | Two quite large trades of 75k & 220k @ 267.5p,interesting- buy/sell? Online maxim buy is 500 shares @ 275p, can sell 1000 for 262p. So I am assuming they were buys. | azalea
05/11/2012 16:09 | Cant quite figure out the two large trades, if 'buys', perhaps got a good price for such large sizes, if sells', above the bid price for 1k = 265p. | azalea
05/11/2012 11:28 | Think about getting on this train, people, its building up steam and about to leave the station DYOR | azalea
01/11/2012 10:28 | Very encouraged this morning to find that I can only buy a maximum of 250 shares @ 275p, online. As I said earlier, any notable buying from here will push the share price up. | azalea
31/10/2012 16:48 | Buyers nibbling in much larger chunks than myself, if this level continues, the share price could soon gain momentum. Its "667sq km Mannargudi block(secured clearance to proceed with 30 pilot production wells), has an estimated original gas in place reserves (OGIP)of 980bn cu ft, which is in addition to the 2.35 trillion cu ft at the Raniganj block (108 wells), ideally situated close to several major industrial centres". Its having no trouble in securing sales with gas contracts or through a MOU up 11% at 38.1mmscfd. 12month high/low 328/255p | azalea
31/10/2012 09:35 | In for 1k yesterday and another this morning. There are a number of significant similarities betwen GEEC and Indus gas 970p. GEEC(NAV 646p)forecasts for 2013 & 2014 are slightly better with just 116m shares in issue V IND 128m. Large majority holders. | azalea

In addition the company is looking at a dividend strategy at "sometime in the future" but GEEC needs regular investments which will take priority. These investments include drilling 40 new wells a year. | ceohunter
30/10/2012 14:12 | The latest write up from the IC(29/10/12, makes a very strong case for GEEC prospects 2013, 2014. Arden & partners(BUY recc) forecast 2013 Ptx £6.65m Eps 4.49p 2014 Ptx £15.65m Eps 10.52p | azalea

01/6/2009 09:56 | Results this time next week then. I wonder whether the buying will continue this week as last week. With sales revenues set to increase with the new pipelines coming online and demand very strong GEEC looks to have plenty to offer. Dibbs | dibbs
29/5/2009 10:00 | GEEC was to be floated in India.I assume some thing is nearer. Demand for CBM as kitchen fuel is never ending there.Indian stok mkt. is rising. Geec laying new gas pipes and in pursuit of new contracts to supply CBM to industry is quite favourable to enhance its price. | ranag9
29/5/2009 07:54 | Lewseyfarm, breaking out of the recent trading range very nicely unnoticed by the masses! GEEC is one of those shares with no private investor profile as the activity on this ADVFN board shows. Indian and energy stocks both seeing more interest of late so maybe more to come yet. Dibbs | dibbs

11/5/2009 21:32 | lewseyfarm, Not in at the moment but held for a while before. I keep an eye on GEEC and noted the large trades a few days ago coupled with the developments that should see sales ramp up soon. Was wondering if GEEC was due another run? I'd love to see some upto date forecasts to make a better effort at reaching a valuation. Any ideas? Dibbs | dibbs |
