thankyou kd,
that does help a lot actually,
cant get the hang of the filter stuff, but, that does bring up lists which i can glance down.

i notice that the link is same except for figure at the end so i guess i could even change it from 500 or 250 to whatever eg 150, 375, or 750.

thanks.

A filterX with only SETS stocks over 500m market cap within 10% of yearly high.

Sets stocks within 15% of yearly high:

Obviously you have to do your own research after you highlight the near highs/lows

That is because the current price of Durlacher is 111 and the low for the year is 0.82 so the price is 13,354% away from the low. Click on the column header again and it reverses the order. Then you will find that LSMR has broken its low (minus figure) and SCTN, ARI, BOC, BLND, HAS, DLAR , BP., CBRY, KYGA, PHY are within 5% of their lows for the year

kd1. If you add Market Sector you can easily strip out the market averages. Like so:

If you click on a value in a table you can then filter out value in a range.

ie: I clicked on Market cap and deselected all companies below £500m market cap. I then clicked on the yearly high percentage and deselected all stock more than 10% below their yearly high.

This is the result:
