23/10/2008 19:26 | Thgis has absolutely crashed with the baltic dry index: won't that improve quite dramatically if the banks manage to reinstitute letters of credit? Historic Pe 3.6 13% yield | hosede
13/7/2008 23:19 | I don't think Goldenport has newer ships.... slap | slapdash
13/7/2008 16:35 | Anyone have a view on the relative merits of Goldenport versus Globus Maritime, Frontline and Hellenic Carriers? They all seem exposed to trade in commodities although obviously Frontline is oil and the others are dry bulk. Globus and Hellenic have good yields with varying degrees of forward visibility but use older, less fuel-efficient, ships. | hieronymous1
18/6/2008 15:14 | Drifting back - though good to see some new coverage. "Goldenport shot up 24-3/4 pence to 395-1/2, as it sold its Samos bulk carrier vessel for $25 million cash, as Arbuthnot Securities initiated coverage with a 'strong buy' rating and 500 pence price target." | tole
16/5/2008 09:28 | Baltic Dry Index has just equalled its all time high. This should be recognised soon. | 18bt

02/3/2008 20:33 | Puku IC is wrong as usual... the final dividend for this year is 4% and the interim dividend WAS 2% so the total for this year is 6%... for next year dividend is 8% and then year after 9.5%... it is incredible to me how the IC always seems to get basic facts wrong but there you go... (as the above poster said they have confused cents and pence or something like that) look at the presentation on the company's website.... dont' take it from me.. slap | slapdash |
