15/8/2019 09:00 | Have had no real issues buying this, always been quoted a reasonable price. | darrenp746
15/8/2019 07:17 | Oz shares up 1% this morning | podgyted
14/8/2019 22:42 | Canadian and US stocks static - Oz share fall this morning means a 2% fall in NAV. It's strange at the moment - gold is going up but gold miners are falling. Let's see if they play catch-up tomorrow. | podgyted
14/8/2019 14:31 | Remember we were partners in crime ;) | spectoacc
14/8/2019 14:30 | youve got the power to know your indestructable.... lol. | stevieweebie2

14/8/2019 13:43 | Looks like the shake-out could be over already. | skidaddle
14/8/2019 13:37 | It's partly also to do with it being an investement trust. Hence the NAV. | skidaddle
14/8/2019 13:32 | ...And yes, FTSE down over 100, gold up. The US bounce lasted less than a day. | spectoacc
14/8/2019 13:29 | Best or Limit no problem with Barclays but there is always a delay. If you do Quote then that's when it gets difficult. | skidaddle
14/8/2019 12:50 | Have to say the liquidity of this stock is still an issue. I tried to place an order with A J Bell for everything from £10k to £500 - all were rejected! | brassgemini
14/8/2019 12:44 | Gold marching higher again. | phoebus_av
14/8/2019 12:02 | Recession, $14 trillion of negative interest bearing bonds, competitive devaluation of currencies and fund managers say that they don't buy gold and gold shares because they don't pay any interest. Now some hedge funds are blocking off the exits because they are invested in the wrong illiguid assets. In the 70's gold shares not only appreciated capital wise they were also paying out massive dividends too. In the early 2000's gold bull, both gold and the dollar went up together (just like now) for almost a year before they parted company and went thier separate ways. Gold going North and the dollar going South obviously. If Trump gets his way, it's going to happen again when the Fed drops its rates. Gold now touching $1510 and silver up 17c. But everything is fine say the talking heads. | skidaddle
14/8/2019 11:56 | CDM, well spotted. Checked for a 2-10 inversion earlier, so must have just happened. | phoebus_av
14/8/2019 11:44 | Also the yield curve in both UK and US inverted today. I am given to understand this often presages a recession. | creme de menthe
14/8/2019 11:30 | Funny to see people selling here with gold resuming it's move higher this morning. Looks like yesterday was a shakeout of mining investors on the back of the tariff postponement. All the major negatives driving the gold price higher are still very much in place. | phoebus_av
14/8/2019 07:56 | Oz shares down overnight. | podgyted
13/8/2019 23:37 | One way of looking at it C-de-M. Americas fallen by over 10% tonight for example. I estimate 2 days of falling NAV yet to be reported on - lets see what happens tomorrow. | podgyted
13/8/2019 23:01 | Scroll up this page and click on latest factsheet, which is June. | creme de menthe
13/8/2019 22:29 | On the co website abbot, well it's the latest one at least | stevieweebie2
13/8/2019 22:01 | Where do I find a list of our present investment companies | abbotslynn
13/8/2019 19:12 | Profit taking is to be expected after such a rise but the trend is clear. A world of negative interest rates is coming, even with a Sino US trade deal. Buy the dips. | creme de menthe
13/8/2019 17:18 | Some pretty large falls on some of the Canadian shares at the mo. | podgyted |
