22/7/2019 22:41 | Continued gains in the US and Canadian stocks in the Trust's top 10 today. America Silvers up over 7% | greenrichard
22/7/2019 17:37 | "Commodities brokerage share price Angel says gold is poised to enter a major bull market..." | cf456
22/7/2019 13:26 | NAV up again. 38.39p now. | cf456
22/7/2019 09:27 | A relatively tight spread on the GPSS today, so I took the opportunity to add a few there.. And yes, I realize they're well out of the money at present, but PM's are looking great with the current global situation, and it's a relatively cheap way to add. | steve73
19/7/2019 17:17 | I couldnt agree more ... | ohisay
19/7/2019 15:42 | @ohisay - you win :) Should be trading much nearer to NAV IMO, & will be, in time. | spectoacc
19/7/2019 15:28 | RNS just out. NAV now 37.45. | cf456
19/7/2019 14:53 | 1 year high for Silver today in all major currencies. | davebowler
19/7/2019 13:46 | Must be taking a bit longer to add up today :) | spectoacc
19/7/2019 11:05 | re: the fund size and charges.. that is the idea behind issuing subscription shares (ticker GPSS). I think it quite likely we'll be over 42.3p by Nov 2019 in which case some subscription shares will be exercised. From the RNS from 28 Nov 2017 "on any exercise of the Subscription Share Rights, the capital base of the Company will increase, allowing operating costs to be spread across a larger number of Ordinary Shares, and this may cause the ongoing charges as a percentage of the NAV per Ordinary Share to fall; " Those subscription shares I bought at around 1.5p are starting to look good! | techtrend
19/7/2019 10:14 | Nearer 38p than 36p I'd have thought... | ohisay
19/7/2019 09:29 | Previous 3 days of NAV - 34.2p, 35.04p, 36.1p - guesses for today's, from yesterday? Edit - someone must have a spreadsheet of holdings & prices, but I'm going 36.5p :) | spectoacc
19/7/2019 08:16 | @Sithuk - I'd imagine they're charged to capital, considering the income profile, but the costs (1.25% management, 2.65% total) have always been a bugbear of mine. The 2018 Annual Report breaks them down (page 18) - mostly so high because of the size of the fund. Can't copy/paste but it's a long list. The more than 50% of the charges that aren't management fee would be proportionally lower in % terms the more the fund grows. | spectoacc
19/7/2019 08:16 | Fees are charged to the trust itself, not the investor directly. Probably pro rata on a daily basis. | greenrichard
19/7/2019 07:49 | How are the 3% GPM annual fund costs typically charged? | sithuk
19/7/2019 07:36 | Certainly interesting to see GPM getting cheaper day by day, despite the share price ticking up. | spectoacc
18/7/2019 23:36 | Gold has broken through 1450. Now it starts to get interesting. | creme de menthe
18/7/2019 21:00 | GPM reached 27p intraday on June 25, the NAV hit 32.5p that day. The offer today was 27.2p and the NAV will hit 37p+ when announced at midday ish tomorrow. That's what I call a bargain. | techtrend
18/7/2019 20:26 | "#Gold continues to blitz higher. Highest levels since May 2013. Gold producers in play again tomorrow" | cf456
18/7/2019 20:12 | So can I. Look at gold and silver tonight! It's broken through the $1440 barrier and has started its journey to $1500-1550. GPM's holdings are coming good! | dogberry202000
18/7/2019 19:55 | All GPM stocks on a tear, Silver Lake Resources up 12% today! Yes there is a discount to NAV, yes it has been increasing ... that's why I've been buying. It's a bull market, the NAV discount will close. It's like buying a double leveraged fund without the risk. So why complain, just buy in the sales. I can see 30p+ in days here. | techtrend |
