Gold shares need to see above $1300 gold before they really get going. GPM is representative of a wide range of gold shares that have been decimated in the recent, long correction. There's at the very least a clear doubling of gold and other pm stocks between here and $1450-1550 gold. It's still early days, yet, as we could be on a good run for around 7 or 8 months.

I am surprised you are in PAF. I know its cheap but its in South Africa and wouldn't surprise me if they went the way of Tanzania. They already have BEE which enables the ANC to reward all their cronies. Gangsters.

Yes I hold HUM with the production very close now what is not to like its still undervalued by at least 50% in my book, also PAF which will do well with an increasing gold price still below the recent placing and starting to move today.

Did read that over $100 billion has been invested in crypto currencies as soon as people realise that this is the biggest pyramid selling Ponzi scheme the world has ever seen they should return to gold

wskill IMO a lot of gold shares are underperforming in the latest gold upswing. Of the ones I follow on HOC and HUM are doing okay. All my others have been disappointing to say the least. What shares are you referring to?

My other gold shares are doing very well but with GPM no movement strange behaviour when gold is on the up.

Bloomberg article says," hedge funds losing precious metals faith ", due to potential US rate hikes.
Then Bloomberg article immediately below that one is completely the opposite ???
" Dollar bears case grows stronger as wagers on Fed hikes fade ".

The above article is just what I want to read, it's a perfect indication that the market is near to a bottom, when so many are bearish to such an extreme level.

It was an important day in gold today which could well mark the bottom. GPM is possibly on the cusp of a reversal with that spinning top today. We'll see. I've been adding over the last few days by more than 10%. There's been good volume here over the last few weeks.

NCIM May gpm factsheet out.
At end of report it says they sold some base metal miners and silver wheaton.
Unfortunately in my view they bought more Asanko gold, which they said was affected by GDXJ movements. No mention of Muddy Waters Asanko short report.
