Meerkat site Compare the Market in ‘price ramping’ investigation

A major price-comparison website was accused of driving up the costs of home insurance on Tuesday, costing consumers millions of pounds.

Comparethemarket.com, best-known for its meerkat advertising campaign, faces allegations that it does deals with insurers which prevent them from making cheaper offers on other websites.

This one is a winner. Just did my own survey, where would you go to look for a car insurance price comparison website? - go compare won.

I dont see confused.com, meerkat adverts as much. Moneysupermarket keep changing their branding - its He-man right now. Go compare has been consistent with the Gio Compario adverts.

Not bad. I did well out of PIPE and a few others in a rising market. You still have to pick the right ones at the right timing as they don't get it right all the TIME!
