Davros everything is dangerous if you are investing with leverage because we all know market is 1) manipulated and 2) exposed to volatility. Investors who invest physical, have longer time frames and are not day trading can take a longer term view and ride the volatility. Fundamentals are fundamentals and sanity eventually reruns no matter how manipulated or volatile a stock is. Happy Ester holiday all!

The Momentum Investor commented last month:

We suspect the share price weakness may reflect the announcement that the group will invest an extra £10m in marketing this year on start-up venture weflip, a new product launched 15th October ’18, which automatically switches or ‘flips’ a customer from one energy provider to another and is the first product launched as part of its new “savings as a service” strategy to reduce customer “botheration.”
Start-up losses were £1.2m last year and this extra investment will depress profits in FY’19. But CEO Matthew Crummack is talking big: “weflip has the potential to disrupt markets in the same way that price comparison did when Gocompare launched in 2006."
After five non-exec directors bought shares post results, Chairman Sir Peter Wood (who founded hugely successful Direct Line and Esure insurance businesses) has just waded in and bought 17.8m shares at just under 64p, taking his holding to 29.9%. If weflip works out, the shares could easily double from here on a 2-year view. We are buyers.

Added more at 70p last December.

Why would you sell at these prices? IMHO this has much more to run. I think all these rumours about amazon building their own price comparison just sounds like a bunch of b.s. If anything they have more than enough money to buy Money, Goco or whomever they want and achieve scale quickly or consolidate the sector. Would be good to see some other long term investors, along with Kayne, building stakes so hopefully we see RNS soon. Or Sir Peter just takes this private with PE backing and then happy days. Either way personally I see more upside vs the downside risk of the lows we established. So good luck longs and have faith on insurance veterans who put their money were their mouth is...

DavR0s - Well the weakness from 140p to 122p is likely to have been caused by net shareholder selling. I don't have any particular insight though. Could just be private investor selling. Oh well results next week on 31 July. Just a bit frustrating the modest valuation here. Given the net debt I doubt they will buy back shares.

Big selloff today. I wonder if it is income investors running for the door on the demerged shares.
