19/10/2006 07:39 | Jack, they may not have to. All they have to say is that we've met brokers' expectations for this year and we think the new legislation in the US won't have any negative impact on our revenue streams for next year. Piece of cake really... even if it's all lies. | paulo2
19/10/2006 02:06 | If there is anyone out there who has any influence with GMC management, please entreaty them to SEO their portals. I can't see, from where I'm sitting, they can pull a rabbit out of the hat at the moment. (Sorry Bengo, I tried.) | jackthetrader
18/10/2006 21:53 | Sorry Jack! :) | bengo
18/10/2006 17:36 | Business as usual for online poker site Absolute Poker has confirmed that business is "absolutely" as normal. The online poker firm has issued a statement confirming that their primary US activities have not been affected by recent legislative events in the US. "It is the belief of our legal and executive team that online poker is a game of skill and the prohibitions signed into law on Friday October 13th 2006 by the President of the United States neither apply to online poker nor our business," confirmed Absolute Poker. Despite the recent ban on US customer using US banking facilities to send and receive funds to online poker sites, the firm remains confident that it will be able to continue to accept US customers. The firm has confirmed it is looking at payment options with its existing processors. America's prohibition on online poker was passed by congress as part of an attachment to the Safe Ports Act 2006. The act has been written with the aim of increasing security at America's ports. | shaz247

18/10/2006 11:39 | A cartoon that pretty much sums up the UK's special relationship with the yanks to brighten up fellow GMC holders. | bengo
18/10/2006 11:35 | Loverat, your tactics are plainly obvious and clearly very amateurish. Pay the price and you have a good chance to double your money from here. Over-sold over-reaction. Don't miss the chance and pay higher. P.S. oh, and if you believe your own pie-in-the-sky prediction, why not short or don't you have the balls. | moneymaker6
18/10/2006 11:32 | He wants me, I can tell! | paulo2

18/10/2006 11:30 | A business idea he is 'launching' next month.... And he is asking for your ideas now! paulo - it seems that you are as inept at business as you are at investing in shares. Pop over to my thread with your CV. I will try and give you some positive direction. | loverat
18/10/2006 11:23 | 75p for Partygaming? You have got to be joking? No one should take notice of house broker targets. As for GMC....you are correct - you should have reservations about the management. | loverat |
