It's a quiet company, but the insttutions seem rather keen on the shares.

A few buys today. Were they tipped somewhere over the weekend?

I always worry when directors off load and put it down to 'institutional demand'. Isn't that just saying that he was able to sell his stocks into a strong market?

I recently bought these as a friend thought they could progress. Looks like he was correct. I hope the upward momentum continues as Glisten seems well positioned in an expanding market.

Excellent...and it looks like there are plenty more acquisitions to come.
I'm impressed with the way they have integrated everything so far.

I'm glad to see increase in energy prices hasn't caused too much havoc - it was my one concern.

Cheers

Good results, ahead of forecasts, should be received favourably. CH.

This is getting interesting. Has some insider got wind of excellent results?

Bernstein - I shall reserve judgement until the results on 12th September. Should they match or exceed the current consensus forecasts for the year ended 30th June and there is also a confident statement looking forward, then I shall continue to hold. I am anticipating further growth of EPS for the year ending June 2007 of 15 - 20%. Regards CH.

You must be pleased with the support/bounce CH. I seem to remember you saying this was one of your biggest holdings. You still happy the way things are going?

Strong move today but it needs to close above 320 to show that it was indeed no more than a shake out before the results on 12/9/06. CH.

300p seems to offer some support.
I'm looking for a bounce (but then aren't we all?)

I would agree that it does seem strange bearing in mind that the company has nothing but positive things to say. IMO this seems like a buying opportunity.

The declared volume over the last two days has been of no consequence and yet the MM's (Market Manipulators) have marked it down 17.5. One has only got to look at the most recent trading statement by the Company on 30th June to draw the conclusion that this would appear to be a shake out prior to the results on 12th September. Shall continue to hold and buy further on this weakness. CH.

onwards and upwards - there's no stopping glisten - not for a long time anyway.
but it's so booooooooooooooring!!!!
I've been tipping GLI all the way from 90p - I drove people mad with tales of how exciting popcorn and chocolate coated peanuts are - but there's only so much you can say.
It lacks the excitement of other shares and people can't seem to realise that buying into shares like this is the way to really get rich.
A good friend of mine bought some after I nagged him - a week or two later he sold out at £50 profit!! He missed the point totally - it's not a trading share - buy a shed-load and KEEP - that's the way - buy them - go away and take up stamp collecting or sky-diving or, anything - come back after 2 years and take a look - whooppee big profit - no capital gains tax to pay - AND, even better - no Inheritance tax to pay if you die whilst sky-diving, or
stamp-collecting.

Hugh.
