Worth reminding ourselves of the remainder of the Rights timetable:

Closed on 6th October
Notification to ASX of shortfall 9th Oct
Allotment of new shares 14th Oct
New shares commence trading 15th Oct.

So we will soon know what percentage interest will be held by Gandel.

With regret I have come to the conclusion that it is time to part company as it makes this board very uncomfortable when any opinion other than your own is just drowned out with yet more re-iterations of your point of view.

I am sure that we both want the same positive outcome for GIP, but as I intend to be around for as long as that may take (or not as the case may be), I just do not feel that any sort of open discussion will be possible with you on board.

Hence, I suggest you set up your own thread free of any contrary views from myself.

General tantalum news.





Not much change in the tin price today posted these up on hotcopper but nobody bit.





Have been previous rumbles about odd things going on in the tin market but hardly surprising this has been overlooked by Gip investors with everything else going on.

No downplaying of news because you think Gip have applied for another licence which they did not tell us about after getting a licence they did not tell us they got at the time.

Obviously they have been totally open then no fog of confusion.

The only issue that will impact the share price is Abu Dabbab (groundhog day argument 20 see previous posts) guess you must think that the recent roller-coaster ride is connected to Abu Dabbab then?

"Just focus on the Tantalum & Tin market" post much more on tin and tantalum than half a dozen posters put together and much much more than the gold prospects. (groundhog day argument 22 see previous posts.)

Something is worth what it can be sold for or its potential if Gip do a free carry joint venture it will be worth something a point i have already made on hotcopper. This will not take years as Gip are already talking as mentioned in prospectus.

See previous point also all the other companies in the Nubian shield area guess they have beat your hundred to one odd's theory surprised you invested in Centamin (like me) at those odds.

Either information about Gip prospects was sat on or it was not, i have posted plenty of information that suggests it was we cannot both be right.

The best you can come up with is if the information had been out there you do not think Gip would have attracted any more investment because everyone would have thought all Gip's other prospects were worthless.

Very thin argument with no Gip information to back it up not much more than a opinion really which you are free to hold but it is not compulsory that i agree with.

Do not think Gip will sell the licences but do a Joint venture with Chalice gold. Having Lycopodium and Steven Chadwick working for both companies should help any agreement Lol.

Gandel is going to want to make the case that there is "gold in them hills" or more accurately minerals in the nubian shield area, and want Gip to be involved. This should help Gip do deals further along the line over Wadi Allaqi area's so he will not want to be totally cut out of the Eritrean tenements.

Chalice gold think the mineral prospects are good to the north and they know Gip's area.

With the gold price hitting a high do not think everyone is going to want to shun gold investments but that is a opinion everyone can feel free to disagree with...

Look at Antofagasta - Sunridge deal mentioned last Friday
Specific the Emba Derho 43-101:
0.2g/t Au; 1.0% Zn; 0.5% Cu with some tonnage but an IRR of 12.5% current

Only happy people around are Gippsland's geologists. LOL.

Well you have to ask yourself 'would I put money into a company that only has a prospecting licence'? If the answer is YES, then that is up to you, but to me it is just another way of gambling.

Same goes for Wadi Allaqi of course.

I know what you mean about 'Groundhog day' - it seems completely impossible to have any reasoned discussion because we just always return to your point of view without any acceptance of a different viewpoint. Such is life on this BB (sigh).

I see the seasoned posters on HC have made similar arguments to me - so does that not even provoke a slight glimmer of recognition that you could actually be WRONG!
