Croxie I own some SGO - Shocking performance this fiscal although funny enough regained a lot of lost ground today! I'm holding on the off chance it multi-bags although its probably gone from a "sound investment" to a punt these days...lots of things tell me to sell although the reasons to buy are still there...who knows, maybe 2012 is going to be a year for that one too!

I have BIOM - Average is 7.4p and the are worth a little over a tenth of a penny!!!

Got a 75k toe in here earlier by selling a bit of my TOM and what happens.. TOM's on a Kylie's Rocket !

I haven't l2, but it's interesting that the bid has ticked up twice without any trades going through. Could be buy orders needing to be filled, yet the MMs have no stock. I suppose there's a tree shake on its way :0)

Got the whole eastern flank to drill. Plus Gecko + the big targets in the south + the depth. Will need more money and presumable will ramp up drilling in April when all completely merged and Lawton has less influence!

Lloyd George is an old pit 1km NE of Gibraltar that produced gold years ago (It's on some of the maps they've produced). So far not even looked at by AZX/GGG but if the evidence from the other old pits is anything to go by, there may well be something worth checking out. Who knows?

I'd assumed that GGG were continuing explo and were subbing AZX pre merger ? We have sooooo much to go at inc the bonus of x oz of the better quality gold.

Merger out of the way and hopefully BL can conduct the orchestra successfully and hopefully he is already doing that regardless of the 1/5 start date.

AFAIK there is only one rig turning. (ps out of coverage so mot seen all posts)

As I understand it, only one drill turning at present, presumably at Gibraltar.

Hopefully, that should improve once the merger is complete.

I think it was right to focus on proving up the indicated resources at BB, but now the gloves should come off on exploration on the main targets you identified with PFS/BFS activity on the main BB play in parallel.




P.S. What is Lloyd George?

kiwi - speaking to Paul McG the other day, I was astonished to hear that they've only drilled 14 exploration wells so far - the rest have all been proving up the resource. I'm sure that the focus going forward will be on exploration - they're certainly not short of opportunities: going deeper at BB, Geko, the shadow to the east, the Gibraltar trend (not just the pit, and especially where it meets the Bullabulling trend, Lloyd George etc.

I reckon they should get the new listing away, get the share price up, raise a bundle of cash and get stuck into exploration alongside the development activity. Mind you, it's down to the new CEO, who hasn't even arrived yet.

smarty - AZX's cash position has definitely had a negative effect on drilling activity.

I'd assumed that there were 3, don't believe AZX's cash shortage has stopped the drill effort. At some point in 2012 when share price a lot higher, there will be a cash call to ensure that we can accelerate drill campaign ie 5/6 drills to ensure that we leave no stone unturned. share price will see a re-rate as of Friday and i can see us on the way back to 40p in the not to distant.

Et al,

I believe Fingers chart does hold water regardless of being an AIM minnow and the question is how long. Probably trade betwwen 22 and 24 pre merger and then re-rate ? Question will be whether punters try to trade this stock pre Wednesday ?
