24/1/2003 19:24 | May be some more share buying back going on, see rns tomorrow. Having had both rge and lgd go down this month, am wondering if this is going to be third time unlucky. Never heard any more on the Megabowl banking convenants, though their sales are up slightly this time around. Extremlely bizarre if after buying back shares at 90p of small shareholders they are going to take a fall! Debt is around 50m, half turnover but plenty of co's they can sell within the group, not least half of megabowl. Some wonderful buying options for Georgica in the leisure sector if they get their act together. | tooredtobleed
24/1/2003 11:53 | Seems to be a large seller in the market-may provide the company,or directors with the opportunity to buy back on the cheap.DYOR. | addict
22/1/2003 00:20 | Georgica keep buying back their shares, they obviously believe they will be worth a lot more soon - they have plenty of co's for disposal and are just waiting for good deals to turn up. Have a bit of patience! Also they have finished buying back from small shareholders, etc., at a much higher price than currently. Why do this unless they have some good stuff in the future! | tooredtobleed

13/1/2002 18:46 | dcb I have been watching it since the end of November and I don't think it will go back below 98p. Just 3000 shares bought on Friday was sufficiant for the MMs to push the price up. If you want to wait for 95p - which might not come - you might miss an increase of about 20% over the next 2/3 weeks to 120p, as you seem to agree that it will get there..then you'll say 'better to wait till it retraces down to 110p.. Good luck in any case for the coming week. GJ | gerard j
13/1/2002 15:19 | Undoubtedly bullish chart, but short term there could be two different views. On the one hand, the chart formation looks just like a pennant. This formation should have a target of at least the previous resistance level of 120.5p. On the other hand, the price is at the top of the trend channel, which would not be a good entry point. Much better to wait till it retraces to the bottom of the trend channel, around 95p, and then buy. Either view is technically valid. dcb | dead cat bounce
