The shares have not gone to the bidder yet.
No details of their holding published, so they are not buying in the market. rather strange?
They must be confident of thier position with the insti's.
However things are changing fast & the insti's may not be all that happy with the pittance. The EGM could be very tasty!!!

The Trolla well, 6609/10-2, in mid Norway will be drilled using the Songa Delta rig and is expected to spud in early September. Dana holds a 30% interest in the licence which is located 45 km to the east of the Norne field.

Should be some update info soon on the percentage that the bidders, ???
hold.
This is not done until they are over the line, however the insti's have the whip hand here, unlike my other holding Glencar, which has just moved into the same situation with few insti's to help the again dubiously behaving bidder.

It seems questionable deals & tactics are rife this year, in the aim world.

Drilling permit for wellbore 6609/10-2 in production licence 483 S
24.7.2009



The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate has granted Det norske oljeselskap ASA a drilling permit for wellbore 6609/10-2, cf. Section 8 of the Resource Management Regulations.


Wellbore 6609/10-2 will be drilled from the Songa Delta drilling facility at position 66°02`29" N and 09°03´06" E.

The drilling program for wellbore 6609/10-2 relates to the drilling of a wildcat well in production licence 483 S. Det norske oljeselskap ASA is the operator, with an ownership interest of 40 per cent. The partners are Discover Petroleum AS (30 per cent) and Dana Petroleum Norway AS (30 per cent).

Well 6609/10-2 will be drilled about 45 km east of the Norne field in the Norwegian Sea. The production licence consists of parts of blocks 6508/3, 6608/12, 6609/10 and 6609/11. Production licence 483 S was awarded in APA 2007.

Wildcat well 6609/10-2 is the first well in production licence 483 S.

The drilling permit is conditional on the operator securing all other permits and consents required by other authorities before the drilling activity commences.

fordtin, very interesting, i agree that recent years will change the seasonal chart significantly. looking again at seasonal charts website, its amazing how different some of the longer term charts for gold appear. edit, these up to and including 2007

I noticed last week that the "Heaven & Hell" column in the Sunday Times still holds some shares in GPC.
Not sure how often it is updated, but would expect comment as he has held for a long time & has big losses.

He must like most of us have liked the blocks held.

Break Fee.........

the sum of one per cent. of the value of the Proposal or, if the Proposal price is increased at any time, one per cent. of the increased acquisition price, each on a fully-diluted basis.

So if anyone else bids higher, Bayerngas will make money........you couldn't make it up.......

I see Bayerngas are to delist Genesis from AIM and then register Genesis as a private company......which means all they have done is wipe out the Investors for a tiny percentage of it's value, leaving the company to continue as before..
it really shouldn't be allowed, they need 75% of the vote.........and they probably already have that amount, also Genesis have agreed to a Break Fee, if it all goes pear shaped and another bidder makes an approach they will pay Bayerngas a fee.........shafted or what!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BAYERNGAS DIDN'T EVEN HAVE TO PAY A PREMIUM TO THE LAST TRADE..
The last 2 buy trades on the 2nd were @ 8.65p.........
