Assore are generally value investors. This is portfolio diversification as they are over-exposed to manganese in South Africa and the dire state of Transnet.

Having said that, they recently tried to take over Atlantic Lithium.

Watched analysts meeting which was upbeat. 2024 and 2025 will be very strong years.

Co needs to move off AIM and up its profile with investors.

25th March final figures and dividend news and also results of commercial emerald auction. Also analysts/investors meeting.

Director`s option stock placed so overhang cleared. 3 years discussions between Board and shareholders and then we see this fiasco of Director just breaking even.

Exciting 3 months ahead with production figures due end month hopefully return to usual high grade production.

April emerald auction should be at least 50% higher volume after November cancellation and results and dividend to follow soon after.

Crazy cheap but they do very little to encourage shareholders or potential investors.

I do worry that there is a stitch up coming as they have bought at low prices and average share price has been so low that they could hatch up a deal with the other large shareholders to wipe out the small private investors for peanuts. It is getting to point of writing to independent directors to ensure they are clear on their duties. Because once the wash plant is running, auctions back on full power and dividends resumed these should be at 3x these levels. We should be alert to getting shoved out on the cheap.

I put my trades out there to be shot down. Me investing here after being negative for so long is not something I do lightly. I even had psychological wager with Saracen that GGP would perform better than GEM over the year from July. At that time the GGP share price was half of GEM. As we stand GGP is 11.1p so GEM would need to be 22.2p to match it.

All that being said I think GEM was a good bet after buying in at 13.5p.

Sincero you aren’t an investor but prefer your child games.

Onwards and upwards from here for GEM. My plan is to be here for quite a while and build on my initial investment. So you are aware I tried to buy 60000, 50000 and 40000 and Interactive Investor would not give me a live price until 30000. I only take a live price as the price would have been higher than 13.5p otherwise.

Co has discussed moving listing to Nasdaq to attract new investors and escape

the weak Rand. Unique cos should trade at a premium not a discount.

On Thursday we can all put money in our share ISAS if we have used this years 20k limit-I expect some more buying from private investors!

No, the discount is due to the history of S African company Pallinghurst scandalous "recommended" takeover at a discount 5 years ago when trading moved from London to Joburg and exposure to the Rand which has fallen 30% since.

Management and Non Execs fought for a better offer but were barred from offering to shareholders. Many investors have long memories.

The Old Guard have gone and the current board have done a fantastic job but failed to tell the story, hence the discount and hence the opportunity .

A new Investor Relations guy has joined and seems keen to get out and promote the company at last.
