17/11/2022 13:42 | Added 25k can't buy any now should see this making big gains soon | kirk 6
17/11/2022 11:26 | 650k bought at 101p (delayed print just hitting the book). Someone has picked up 3% of the company in one go. Any more for any more? 3% isn't normally enough to clear sellers nowadays. Show us a few more whoppers - get the market excited for a possible bounce. All imo DYOR | sphere25
16/11/2022 16:23 | I posted a few days ago that there was a big seller in the background keeping the price depressed despite almost 100% buys on some days. Now we know the identity. They may or may not sell their remaining balance but once cleared there may be a fairly sharp rerating. | callumross
16/11/2022 16:05 | Big Harry Nimmo at Abrdn had a big position in his Smaller Companies Funds and he’s just retired. New FM and all that I’m afraid. | largemerlot
16/11/2022 15:44 | So much staff turnover at Aberdeen so could be new fund manager dumping his old colleague`s stock to meet redemptions. | saracen3
16/11/2022 15:38 | Seller "Aggregate of abrdn plc affiliated investment management entities with delegated voting rights on behalf of multiple managed portfolios" Was 8.611419% now below 5% About 750k shares. About what has been traded over the last 5 days | darrin1471
15/11/2022 16:32 | Very encouraging, year end debt likely to be down to £15-18m Remember the Group owns £8m of property so no worries about the balance sheet. No more worries about supply chains and shipping costs almost back to pre covid levels. Company sounds confident. | saracen3
15/11/2022 13:03 | Good to hear. | hastings

15/11/2022 08:04 | Hmm... own brand sales still not enough of the sales pie... ideally want to see that figure at least around 34-45%. Europe looks very encouraging. Still no impairment signs.... @nobils it's included in gross margin as carriage & package costs. | cirlbunting1
15/11/2022 07:43 | Singer comment Today’s in-line results confirm a material uplift in European conversion rates, driven by its in-territory DCs and improved customer proposition. It delivered a number of key web projects in H1, and is on track to deploy other growth-oriented initiatives over the next 6-12 months. With trading momentum having improved ahead of peak, and stock/net debt now reducing, this update has the potential to support some re-rating from just 3x Mar’24 EV/EBITDA. | saracen3
15/11/2022 07:33 | Interesting to see that the average order value has increased by 19% to £151.00. | hastings
15/11/2022 07:23 | Rally today could get very squeezy | saracen3
15/11/2022 07:19 | Going to be a fall today ? | kirk 6
15/11/2022 07:11 | Accounting for freight outside the gross margin is very naughty accounting practice | nobilis
15/11/2022 07:09 | On track to meet the revised forecasts as improved trading momentum has continued into November. | hastings
15/11/2022 07:08 | Will warn in January 30pc fall in customers | nobilis
14/11/2022 13:33 | Singer forecasts £3.8m pre-tax next year with EPS of 13p.4p. Whether that is achievable time will tell, but it'll be interesting to speak with management tomorrow after the interim release. | hastings
14/11/2022 12:55 | Wow. How the mighty have fallen! Why does a £20 million market cap and over £20 million in debt and only a forecast PBT of £1.1 million make it good value? A PE of about 25 at 100p. Is the forecast increase in PBT to £2.75 million the following year likely with a recession forecast? | elsa7878
13/11/2022 11:00 | Very interested to see interims on Tuesday. Assuming these and outlook are not too bad, I will be keen to buy, but given the vast amount understandably trousered by mgmt at over £7, the final piece of the jigsaw for me at least will be to see material director purchases once they are out of their close period. A bullish statement without some reinvestment at these levels is not convincing. | tiger blue
11/11/2022 14:39 | The vast majority of trades over the last 3 days have been buys but with no corresponding large sale this suggests that a large sale order is being worked through by the market makers. Price will recover once this is reported. For my part I will wait until Tuesdays interims are reported before buying more (just in case the outlook has deteriorated in the short time since they reported the trading statement on 20th October). Will happily pay 5-10p more for that reassurance. | callumross
11/11/2022 08:41 | Having thankfully top sliced close to the top, I remain under water on the rest, following the last years dramatic fall. However, I decided to average down this morning (shown as a sell) after watching closely and seeing the shares drop to the current depressed level. The most recent update was more promising and Singer's comments on the debt were very reassuring. Equally, on the latter Paul Scott's thoughts tied in with Singer, further highlighting for me at least the paltry valuation now being attributed to the business. All being well I should be speaking with management next week, so will hopefully add more for interest. | hastings
09/11/2022 13:41 | Too much debt - £33m of debt and around breakeven. Covenants possibly going to be an issue here. Don't think they will be able to trade their way out of that. | mammyoko |
