05/12/2016 07:40 | In the last month, GBP/EUR has moved from 90.3p to 83.5p. So is this good or bad for G4M as I am struggling to keep up with the doom-mongers here? | shanklin
03/12/2016 19:42 | Point taken....thank you. | tadders2
03/12/2016 17:05 | Alexa is website traffic - more suited to G4M than Boohoo who sell mainly through phone and tablet Apps | croasdalelfc
03/12/2016 09:34 | That's pretty impressive since BooHoo is 467. | tadders2
03/12/2016 09:05 | G4M moving up Alexa rankings quite nicely. Now 444 in U.K. Up from 540 about 10 days ago. | croasdalelfc
02/12/2016 14:47 | Looks good. Added. | bamboo2
02/12/2016 14:43 | Next leg up here imo. | bigbigdave
02/12/2016 14:41 | "wise musicians" - so drummers missed out on the bargains then? ;) | flyposter
02/12/2016 09:50 | Started adding again this morning, on another apex based turn. | bamboo2
02/12/2016 09:47 | Potential EU tariffs also a concern. With regard to sales, I guess you have to ask yourself how much of the last reported sales increase was due to wise musicians mopping up before the post-Brexit pound weakness feeds through to prices, and how much was due to G4M attracting more buyers for any other reason. A weak currency will affect all music retailers similarly. Margin pressure will hence be a risk, unless the consumer is expected to bear all cost increases. Which remains to be seen... :0) | taurusthebear
01/12/2016 13:25 | >>Accelerating sales growth isn't going to be the problem here it's margin and the purchases in USD.>> Yep. This is an article from a couple of weeks ago: | zho
01/12/2016 12:36 | Accelerating sales growth isn't going to be the problem here it's margin and the purchases in USD. For the Interim result the gross margins could have been favourably impacted by the revaluation of stock purchased in usd to gbp. | thevaluehunter
01/12/2016 12:11 | Europeans take advantage of weak pound to shop online in the UK. (FT article so sadly subsciption only). Amazon reporting a 30% jump in exports from UK based businesses on it's marketplace, 'a trend replicated by other retailers that sell online'. | alphabeta4
01/12/2016 08:41 | Many waiting for the next markdown. Some day soon, it won't come, and then it'll be back up we go... ;0) | taurusthebear
30/11/2016 15:43 | Probably Paul Scott trying to keep the price up :o) | nurdin
30/11/2016 15:40 | 40k buy at 408p. Christmas has come early for somebody... | ksharlandjiev
30/11/2016 13:46 | Great chance to top up. Shame cannot load my broker's website... :0) | taurusthebear
30/11/2016 10:55 | Shake - added. | bigbigdave
30/11/2016 10:42 | Historical support on my chart at 397 and 362 | bamboo2
30/11/2016 10:27 | Someone with l2 to check if there is support on £4?Thanks | ksharlandjiev
28/11/2016 20:35 | Doubt it, dunelm aren't going to make it profitable even next year. | che7win
28/11/2016 19:12 | Online retailer World Stores Group sale (£100m turnover) to dunelm for only £8.5m could be part of the reason for the fall today. Not sure it's really that relevant to g4m because they are not a dropshipper and are profitable. I'm a holder of g4m for the long term. | thevaluehunter
28/11/2016 12:40 | Me too. Can't see this below a fiver come mid-January. :0) | taurusthebear |
