The Board of GCP Asset Backed, which invests in asset backed loans, today announces that it is considering a possible equity raise during the first quarter of 2019. Any fund raise would be used to repay monies drawn down by the Company under its revolving credit facility as well as take advantage of a continued pipeline of attractive investment opportunities identified by Gravis Capital Management Limited.

Any decision on an equity raise is at the absolute discretion of the Directors and will be subject to prevailing market conditions and investor sentiment. Any new shares issued by the Company will be issued at a premium to NAV. Should the Company decide to proceed with an equity raise, a further announcement will be made in due course.
