...good find brother mick - The $2.4-billion power plant, located 265 km (165 miles) southeast of the capital Dhaka, is a major source of foreign investment into Bangladesh, and one of a series of projects Beijing is pushing to cultivate closer ties with Dhaka.
Makes the Phulbari incident and loss of life, less significant because it is sadly the norm in Bangladesh. The protestors get more agitated, the police more trigger happy and tragedy happens,

Hasina will have been informed, told her Police chief to crackdown and not jeopardize their relationship with Beijing. Maybe individuals rallied by Anu, might just think think twice about wanting to be shot if there are riots at our mine site with the major announcement ahead.

4 protesters shot dead at under construction Chinese coal power station. Protest for higher wages. That's about 12 shot dead there over the last few years. More than shot at Phulbari all those years ago. They can no longer use those deaths as an excuse not to mine. Shooting protesters in Bangla is just normal.

Indeed ignore the 2 liars. Malcolm and mickey. You've been predicting silly numbers as part of your pump for 2.5 years.....and in the time the share price and plummeted. And the proposal is still not submitted. The debts are mounting. The issued shares are like confetti now and will become much worse. And to tip it all...gcm still have no permit to extract coal. You daft clown.

You moronic idiot - you post anything which says Bangladesh without reading the content. What have the Business Angels (and you won't have a clue about them)got to do with power generation and mining.
They will only be interested in tech start-ups.

Well done the Angels.....

Bangladesh Angels Network (BAN) and the Green Angels Syndicate (GAS) of the UK have announced to work together. They aim to source, cross-refer, and promote linkages on smart investment in technology-enabled startups with sustainable change in Bangladesh and UK to create an enabling environment for venture investing in both regions.

Brilliant -China completed 38.4 GW of new capacity in 2020, higher than the 37.8 GW of coal plants that were retired globally. It commissioned 76% of the world’s new coal plants last year, up from 64% in 2019, according to TransitionZero.
