But natural gas, one of the major energy resources, in the country is depleting fast while coal extraction is hanging in the balance. So a question arises if the energy constraints are going to
affect the Vision 2041. The Daily Sun organised a roundtable titled “Energy Security &
Vision 2041” on Tuesday to have a detailed discussion on the issue. State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid was the chief guest at the event, presided over by the Daily Sun Editor Enamul Hoque Chowdhury and moderated by the daily’s Executive Editor Shiabur Rahman. Key points of the discussion are as follows:

Kindly post more detailed posts in future with context and perhaps your opinion as well.
Your tendency is just to post chunks of banality.

Perhaps you have comprehension issue....

What has your article got in it which points to Pulbari being mined ?
Either post something that's relevant or get knotted.

Referring to the global scenario in the energy sector, he said, “we have a plan to produce 50 percent power from coal-fired plants but the scenario is changing, as the world is going for clean energy. In this context, we don’t have enough land for big power plant or no area for deep sea terminal. So, we have introduced short term, mid-term and long term plans.”
According to the gas sector master plan details, World Bank is providing financial support to prepare the Gas Sector Master Plan 2017, being done by Denmark-based Ramboll consultancy

This makes perfect sense......
Build a coal fired power station at Pulbari then import the coal. Why not air-freight it in....

fulbari importing
Bangladesh is following the same path on the proposed Rampal and Fulbari coal-fired power plant projects — where both of these projects will import coal from India and Indonesia.
