It's interesting that druinsky posted a while back that a Swiss fund was accumulating and our new chairman is involved with a Swiss fund. It's also interesting that the quality of the recent appointments is top drawer

Hanesh kanabar our previous chairman has lots of contacts but is is involved with too many company's .This new chairman hopefully can drive Gasol forward. There is no doubt this company has dragged its feet over the last five years ,today's and recent appointments suggest that Gasol is moving forward now with its plans in the gas to power sector. This is excellent news for Gasol and wording in the rns suggests things are starting to move .

Gasol (AIM: GAS), the West Africa energy development company, announces that Cornelia Meyer, a highly experienced energy expert, has been appointed as Chairman of the Company to lead the next stage in Gasol's development.

Ms. Meyer, whose appointment takes effect on 1 August 2012, brings significant sector-specific and international experience to Gasol, having held senior roles with Kimberly Clark Corporation, BP Plc, the General Electric Corporation and Citibank.

Flojo.one thing is for sure ,something is going on with Gasol. The buy and sell and unknown column for trades is not worth anything with regard to forming a true picture of trading. The share price touched .9 not long ago and is now back to .5 on relatively low volume.today we see some large trades going through and it's difficult to understand which are buys or sells.Since Xmas there has been a definate change in volume ,there has to be a reason for this. For us ,all we can do is wait patiently and see what develops.

Low volume now and share price retracing .strange but still happy to hold as nothing has changed ,ideally placed to benefit from gas flaring legislation and new board members won't be there just to collect their wages ,especially as afgas are paying those wages.

Looking at Gasols strategy ,they can only implement this if they have access to cash and plenty of it .with our chairman already striking a deal for imic with crm the Chinese steel exporter and railway infrastructure company I would assume that the subject of investment in Gasol could well have been touched upon. Just playing with ideas here ,any thoughts?

Looking at the last rns re update on strategy. Its fair to assume that the infrastructure needed for the supply of electricity to Ghana is huge. Not quite sure what Gasols role will be in this but imic is clearly being outlined for some role itself .Not only is Ghana power hungry but guinea and the whole western African area with sierra leone also included in this growth region that can only grow with the increase in power supplies. After spending a little time in sierra leone I saw first hand the need for a regular electricity supply. All these west African nations are or will become oil producers and along with iron ore, gold diamonds the revenue needed for the infrastructure will not be a problem .With china also throwing cash at these areas ,it's clear that the opportunities for company's such as Gasol ,imic ,African minerals are there for all to see.gasol and imic in a jv?

We even have the head of operations at afgas on our board assisting mr Buxton.afgas have been throwing cash at us for years and surely there will be a return on that money in one form or another.

Racing .ive just been reading through some of imic,s rns,s .They themselves are building some impressive connections not least china. The common link as you have stated earlier is our chairman.hanesh.For Gasol to have all these high profile links is in my humble opinion .Infrastructure ( gas pontoons perhaps) railways, and don't forget Gasol alluded to their hopes for stakes in power generation.IMIC themselves look a serious outfit with regular news flow and the potential for growth is huge.speculation wise I feel Gasol has more potential to increase its share price as it is still a long way from its highs of a few years ago although I do like the looks of IMIC.

Connections, connections, I am sure they are building something that will suddenly 'blow'!!! Utilising all the different companies to make themselves, and us, a small fortune. They are not in it for nothing.
