THE GAME GROUP PLC
AWARDS UNDER THE GAME GROUP PLC PERFORMANCE SHARE PLAN ("THE PLAN")
The Board of the GAME Group plc ("The Company") announces that on 4 July 2011 the following awards, under the Plan, were granted to Ian Shepherd, Chief Executive and Ben White, Finance Director:

The awards will be released to the Directors on the third anniversary of the grant if stretching performance criteria are met. These are as follows:
- Between 10% and 40% of the award will vest depending on the Company achieving a Total Shareholder Return ("TSR") performance between the median and upper quartile of companies in the FTSE 250 Index.
- If the Company achieves its TSR targets then up to a further 60% of an award will vest to the extent that the company achieves its previously stated strategic aims in Online, Digital and Customer Conversion (see 16 February 2011 Strategic Update and 2011 Annual Report and Accounts).
- If the Company's TSR performance is below the median compared to companies in the FTSE 250 Index, then 100% of the award will lapse.
Detailed information on each of the targets is set out below:
