Getmapping plc ('Getmapping' or 'the Company') 19 June 2003 Settlement of legal dispute and notice of results Getmapping, the UK's leading provider of map-accurate colour aerial photography, announces that it has reached a settlement of its legal dispute with Ordnance Survey ("OS"). Under the terms of the settlement, Getmapping has agreed to pay a six figure sum towards OS costs over the next year, a breakdown of which will be included in the Company's year-end results. The terms of the settlement do not permit the disclosure of any other details or comment from either party. Getmapping believes that the settlement is in its best interests. Getmapping will continue to operate in the market in parallel with OS's Imagery Layer and intends to become a long-term supplier to the Imagery Layer as well as a reseller. In this way Getmapping can work in collaboration with OS and concentrate its efforts on developing new markets for imagery as well as specialist data of particular areas. Getmapping will announce Preliminary Results for the year ended 31st December 2002 on 26 June 2003.
