19/8/2018 10:59 | Bonio Yeah, I was assuming annual fees only because FBT had RNS'd contract wins but never spoken about 'additional usage income' ... GL Maybe I've assumed wrong!!! It's happened before!! | paulcon1
19/8/2018 10:52 | Depends on the deal. Plenty of deals are where you develop a product, get paid for the service and that is it - the provider then cashes in. Plenty are where it is a development fee and then a percentage of sales. Not sure if I was Town news I would want to pay FBT endlessly. I suspect we get an annual fee for the tech. Point is - we don't know. | bonio10000
19/8/2018 10:34 | Chriscallen Thanks for that. Not being from this industry, do all contracts have a 'volume related payment'? And if so, is that easily traceable? Thanks | paulcon1
19/8/2018 08:41 | TownNews is just the conduit for the provision of services to the end customer. In the case of Buffet's contract with Lee (TownNews owner)and the latest contract with Melville found by cabi1 that gives coverage of over 12% of the US population they would both be additional. They are not selling a motorbike but services. So as in any normal software contract there will almost certainly be a volume related payment. It won't be based on the number of desktops that use it but it will be there. Otherwise they sell the software on the basis that it will be used on 10 newspapers / TV stations and in 6 months find its being used on say 3000 with no extra income. No business with that pricing model could ever survive. | chriscallen
19/8/2018 01:52 | How does that impact on FBT?Fbt already has its money on the integration with townnews. The rest is nothing to do with fbt. | bonio10000
18/8/2018 16:55 | Thanks Cabi Sounds like another 10k! | geheimnis2

18/8/2018 07:31 | cabi1 That's a really encouraging read for FBT and its shareholders | chriscallen
17/8/2018 12:19 | The tech is that good we started a licensing programme with no takers.Salivating indeed. | bonio10000

16/8/2018 16:55 | I have had a few 5X 10X over the years on AIM and was always down at some point. Don’t bother investing in small AIM companies unless they are potential multi baggers imho. | nickb
16/8/2018 16:34 | I'm a half bagger at the moment but would be delighted to be in the 10 bagger brigade. I'd also like to win the national lottery, 5 million bags there.... | mcsean2164
16/8/2018 13:00 | I'm part of the 'Zerobagger Clown Crew' unfortunately..... 😒 | paulcon1
16/8/2018 12:50 | And a zerobagger would turn £27.5k into £0 | mcsean2164
16/8/2018 12:47 | So a tenbagger would turn £27.5k into £275,000 | nickb
16/8/2018 12:44 | Thanks, cool... Yes we do.... 😊 | paulcon1
16/8/2018 12:41 | 475,000 £27.5k. Need a few more of those. | sickness
16/8/2018 12:38 | Sickness I was wondering who rattled the cage and awoke the blackbird... Couldn't see the trade, 500kish? | paulcon1
