24/6/2008 08:29 | dasein - no problem butch - share price should continue to rise strongly (fwiw, online dealing is offering me over 30p to sell large volume at the moment; they won't get any though from me). New NOMAD, PR and two roadshows will help this year. new NOMAD may seek dual listing next year too, which would lead to significant re-rating. | explorer88
24/6/2008 08:25 | buffin - precisely! :-) | explorer88
24/6/2008 08:24 | NOT MUCH OF A RISE YET. How will the wider community get to know about this company? | butch9850
24/6/2008 08:24 | Thanks for pointing these out early on another thread explorer88 managed to bag a few before the price moved impressive results ! | dasein
24/6/2008 08:23 | EPS is higher than GNG's and share price is ... er ... not! :) | buffin
24/6/2008 08:16 | it'll be worth the effort ...:-) | explorer88

24/6/2008 08:09 | Surprised the mm's didn't mark it up straight away. Bargain at 28p. | pec2004
24/6/2008 08:04 | should see share price rise strongly today. | explorer88
24/6/2008 08:01 | Very pleasing report - no reason for them to be cheaper than they were on PLUS last year! Should catch up quickly (in any normal market!) | philjeans
24/6/2008 07:57 | These results are the sort of thing I was hoping for from Geong, I'm sure they will deliver next year. Will be interesting to see if any of the money from the Geong sellers over the past week or so comes over here. | pec2004
24/6/2008 07:53 | morning Art - yes, that's right, and i think this was one of the reasons for the switch - should yield a somewhat different rating ... :-) | explorer88
24/6/2008 07:40 | I believe Seymour Pierce have plans to float AIM companies on the Hang Seng next year ... | arthurly
24/6/2008 07:39 | Yep, excellent results - 4.93p adjusted EPS plus £4.1m of cash does make this rather good value.. :o)) As usual with Chinese companies debtors are up sharply and the cash flow from operating activities at £482k is much less than PAT. But the overall rude health of the company and the confident acquisitions, plus the large cash pile, allay these as relatively minor concerns. Onwards and upwards! | rivaldo
24/6/2008 07:28 | I like the look of these results, have beaten recent Seymour Pierce estimates, Gross Profit margin has gone to 46.2% from 39%, and after the fun and games over at GNG they have appointed a finance director which is good to see. | stluke
24/6/2008 07:26 | sp 27p eps 4.08p growth 68% PEG = 0.097 ! :-) sp 27p eps (adj) 4.93p growth 68% PEG = 0.08 !!! :-) cash over £4m n.b. 68% increase in eps achieved though just 16% increase in staff numbers change to new nomad, Seymour Pierce, who have (conservative) share price target of 60p imo, even in current market, share price deserves to be re-rated to at least 60p now (which would still only be a PEG of 0.18 and 0.22 !!! :-)) p.s. it is good to see that two of their six aims for this year are: 1. improve relationship with investors through PR and new NOMAD 2. raise profile of business with two roadshows. | explorer88
24/6/2008 07:25 | Yep excellent. | arthurly
24/6/2008 07:10 | "...reaping the benefits of our leading market position...." | ferdy1
24/6/2008 07:10 | Will be getting on some peoples radars today for sure. | pec2004
24/6/2008 07:05 | Brilliant results ...:-) | explorer88

23/6/2008 12:41 | GHF, longsight, very good points both of you. GNG is proving a real example of where the excessively slow paying culture is beginning to impact on bottom line. Many GNG holders are pushing the company to appoint an effective FD to work on this problem and alleviate it. I am not sure that this culture is not going to have to change if Chinese companies are to deal worldwide. They are going to have to be willing to turn away contracts if it is going to impact on liquidity in a big way! Some Chinese clients seem to consider it a sport to extend credit as long as possible - up to 120 and 150 days. Absolutely ridiculous. After all, at the end of the day, a customer wants your services or they don't. | greek islander |
