14/6/2019 10:19 | It’s dropping. Might mean it’s about to get some news. Hold on | john09
14/6/2019 09:52 | There is still hardly any shares being traded. This bodes extremely well. I thought hi we are heading for 50 p - 75p range in short order here | john09
14/6/2019 09:46 | SAG will also benefit from a third party bid given they own 30% | john09
14/6/2019 09:23 | From the 2018 accounts: 'Frontier supplies hardware and software solutions to multiple consumer electronics brands including Sony, Bose, denon, harman/kardon, JBL, Onkyo, Panasonic and Yamaha. The group's strategic collaborations include relationships with Google, Amazon and Apple and with silicon providers such as NXP, Marvell and Amlogic' All of whom are many times the size of SAG with very deep pockets. A bid at 50p valuing FST at £20m would be loose change for any of these 'credible industry players'. SAG likely to be the bridesmaid here | mammyoko
14/6/2019 09:18 | Presumably an industry player would be able to utilise the $31m of tax losses they had as at 31/12/18 | slicethepie
14/6/2019 09:14 | Bid/Ask - 37p v 39p.... + 23%, although not on any obvious massive volume. Nice first step in the right direction, though. f | fillipe
14/6/2019 09:12 | Nice , im already in profit on my shares. Timing is everything! | escapetohome
14/6/2019 09:01 | This should be interesting no doubt. | moizz
14/6/2019 08:55 | Yep it reads a little like, yeh thanks SAG but bless we have a proper deal on its way | john09
14/6/2019 08:54 | Key words are 'credible industry player' | mammyoko
14/6/2019 08:49 | 33,000 shares traded so far lol. Nothing. This is gonna pop | john09
14/6/2019 08:46 | Yep that last statement means an already illiquid stock will rocket Volume today is absolutely minuscule. I imagine we will be materially higher than 38p at close of play | john09
14/6/2019 08:44 | Now will SAG be buying more on the open market ? because the price hike will be attractive to some holders | john09
14/6/2019 08:44 | RNS Response to Science Group's announcement The Board of Frontier and its advisers, N+1 Singer, note the announcement made by Science Group Plc this morning. The Board of Frontier confirms that it has recently received a further preliminary approach from a credible, industry player with a view to executing a corporate transaction which may or may not involve an offer for the Company. The approach is at a preliminary stage, the proposed structure of the potential transaction has not yet been confirmed, and there can be no certainty that it will result in a formal offer for the Company, nor as to the terms of any such offer if made. The Board is urgently seeking to clarify the pricing, conditionality and deliverability of this second approach, in line with its fiduciary duty to maximise value for shareholders. Further announcements will be made if and when appropriate. In the meantime, Frontier shareholders are strongly urged to take no action in relation to their Frontier shares. | s0lis
14/6/2019 08:41 | And presumably this is the insider information that Singer inferred to Panmure ? | john09
14/6/2019 08:39 | Well right on queue there’s the news 😂 💰 | john09
14/6/2019 08:37 | Starting to get interesting! | mammyoko
14/6/2019 08:25 | 9th May profit warning spoke volumes | the drewster
14/6/2019 08:18 | The board need to make some transaction related news to get the share price up. It could happen. If the price goes up because of trading then it gets us away from the 30p offer and 30p mopping up of shares by SAG. | john09
14/6/2019 07:54 | Shares dipped to 8p, and settled at 12 after the latest of a series of superb updates for holders. With that in mind, 30p is a very credible offer. The BoDs behaviour in issuing themselves protective insurance style bonuses absolutely stinks and highlights once again just how much they are in it purely for themselves. | the drewster
14/6/2019 07:50 | bowles22 - please explain what the impact to the finances would have been if they had not disposed of the Sensium side of the business - at £6/7m loss per year!!! | adventurous
14/6/2019 07:47 | Binary outcome. SAG get on and make an offer for the remaining shares at a credible price or the BoD drive it into the ground and take SAG's investment with it. | mammyoko
14/6/2019 07:41 | All strikes me as dodgy. Now you see what people at higher levels are really like. Gloves off. BoD need to be flushed out. Will happen if SAG win. Will happen if SAG lose and FST don't deliver in spades in a short timeframe. Either way, BoD toast for breakfast. No one will want to touch this co. Time to take it private on the cheap if not sold. | p1nkfish |
