The broker has responded with a very unclear email which concludes with a quote allegedly from the registrar saying "the client will rceive any future payments due". The broker also restated that as the shares were no longer held in Crest they would not show on the account.

Not sure why they cant keep some visible record on the account of holdings in liquidation.

I would be interested to hear if your shares reappear.

Yes I've obtained information from FRM now. Note the letter says "made shortly by means of a partial redemption of the shares in issue." In a covering email with the letter they say 38.097 of every 100 shares were redeemed in this payment.

I think this means the other 61.903 of every 100 shares should reappear in our CREST accounts soon. (Actually at my broker the original number of shares is still showing, but cash has been received so I expect this will soon change.)

Hi freecapital I emailed FRM (adress still on website if you follow link in the header)and they responded very quickly by email along with a copy of a letter from the liquidator, basically saying more to follow. So panic over...I'think.

The shares no longer show on the account due to being withdrawn from Crest I'm told.

The brokers wording on the message explaining their removal mentions "final payment" which is clearly no the case. They've handled other delisted liquidations without issue but I've become slightly nervous of their back office function.

Same here. I have asked my broker's back pffice if there is any letter with this distribution. No response yet. Will let you know if I get one. There may well be no letter, the liquidator maybe just reports annually.

The remaining hedge fund investments were all "side-pocketed", ie residual bits of funds where the manager was not allowing any redemptions until the underlying assets were realised.

It is plausible that the circa 32p received represents the final closure of one or more of the side-pcoketed funds. So more to come when other funds are closed (I hope).

Last NAV statement shows NAV at 88.40p in what I assume is the final payment I've recieved closer to 30p have I miss understood something?

Trying to estblish who the major shareholders are here but as the company is winding down this seems a little more difficult than usual.
