30/12/2016 12:36 | The point I am making is that the small town accountant is unable to invest in IT and thus not able to cope with any increase in the self-employed client pool. I have not yet had time to go through the prospectus but will do so and report back in early 2017. Happy New Year to those who read this BB. | anley
29/12/2016 18:30 | The amount of self employed has increased rapidly and I'd expect that to continue for the foreseeable. | battlebus2
29/12/2016 18:13 | When one buys intangible assets - people and software = administration and service to clients - then the structure of the transaction needs to be earnings enhancing there and then. The concept of acquiring small and medium size firms of accountants is not new but FREE has a modern approach and as millions of self employed need to have someone do there tax returns and keep them on the road then there is a huge market. If this is one approach then that will cost marketing money...........so let us see how they get on and how their London broker helps them. | anley
28/12/2016 17:10 | Yes dilution certainly on the cards imv bit all to the good. | battlebus2
28/12/2016 16:50 | Not much stock about today so bought only a little so as not to move the price too much. I can see how they can grow but they will need to be very careful so as not to dilute to much ........ we shall have to wait and see. | anley
23/12/2016 12:59 | I too am looking closely as to how it can grow as well as investing in the new year. The big question is who wants to sell from the big/existing shareholders? and Who were the buyers at the placing? | anley
15/12/2016 13:24 | Bit of a retrace backwards this morning which is no surprise after a jump off 76p. I can only see FREE picking up more business as HMRC employs their digital by default policy. Worth adding in small amounts over time imv, as ever DYOR etc. | battlebus2

17/3/2004 05:41 | Mr. Branson...still waiting for your reply or anyone else with mega bucks who can see the potential of Airships | maestro.
04/11/2003 21:08 | I believe EasyBalloon is rumored to be coming soon ... unless VirginBallon gets there first. Personally, I would get behind MaestroBalloon ... | irresponsible
04/11/2003 20:56 | Some years ago, there was a public company named Airship Industries based out of Cardington In Bedfordshire (biggest hangers in the country & specifically for zeppelins, hot air balloons etc. Unfortunately, the co. went bust but I think Branson was in there somewhere. | ignoble
04/11/2003 20:53 | Not quite the same as Concorde. | spob
04/11/2003 19:33 | Dear Mr.Branson, I've followed your career and noticed you have a passion for hot air balloons but quite frankly i think your passion, time and money are wasted on this project and would be better spent on developing a state of the art fleet of airships that could transport people safely and near pollution free to all parts of the globe. The old airships imho were deliberately wound up because of their competition to normal aircraft...the oil companies would not generate much revenue from a sky full of airships. So i wondered if you and other investors would be interested in forming an airship company to revolutionise air travel...how about it mate? Regards, Maestro. | maestro. |
