02/10/2007 09:36 | Yep, excellent volumes again. Having been in since the summer lowpoint I'm not that aware of the history - has there ever been any bid interest for FOSE? Apart from the fundamentals, it'd be interesting to know if there's anything else behind this. | ![]() rivaldo
02/10/2007 09:13 | Cavalry arriving! good volume lift at 10.00 o'clock. | ![]() happywanderer
02/10/2007 09:08 | rivaldo You are right as long as the price is going up on good volume I am content. It was just that why bother with a VW for such a small volume. There is a lot of action going on in smaller size trades it appeared that a BOT was running on both sides of the order book yesterday. Does anybody have level 2? How does the order book look? | ![]() happywanderer
02/10/2007 08:54 | Happywanderer: "'VW' Volume Weighted Average Price A transaction that was effected at a price based on a volume weighted average price over a given period." Nope, me neither! But TBH they're pretty irrelevant compared to the mountain of automated buying that's coming in. Lovely new highs now. | ![]() rivaldo
02/10/2007 08:41 | Can anybody enlighten me as to the significance of all the small VW trades? | ![]() happywanderer
01/10/2007 19:43 | Yep - wasn't the broker valuation 265p? Certainly something seems to have happened recently to continue the positive vibes here - today again brought decent trading volumes, so the rise is that much more impressive. | ![]() rivaldo
01/10/2007 19:13 | At last a good solid close above 220. we should see a steady climb to 250 from hgere! | pricemilne5
01/10/2007 10:11 | Boiiing.....higher lows again, and good to see there are a few other holders still here! | ![]() rivaldo
27/9/2007 20:28 | quite large volumes over last two days aswell. | ![]() jscowi
27/9/2007 19:47 | All time close high! Boding well for futher rise in coming weeks. | ![]() quickmind
27/9/2007 19:15 | Still holding and lurking | ![]() grigor
27/9/2007 18:17 | Well, that's definitively a new closing high :o)) Hi dixi - I find the quietest threads are often the best. Hopefully this is just a recognition of what's happening at FOSE and a re-rating is taking place, but perhaps we'll see something in the press tomorrow. Certainly the volume traded is encouraging. The latest broker target is 265p - no reason why we shouldn't steadily advance towards that imo if the markets remain stable. | ![]() rivaldo
27/9/2007 15:09 | You are not alone! Most satisfying this! Yet so quiet! | ![]() dixi
27/9/2007 14:48 | Hello.... :o)) | ![]() rivaldo
27/9/2007 13:46 | Getting near those highs again on heavy volumes - looking promising again. | ![]() rivaldo
13/9/2007 20:24 | Ta for the info Steve - more here: "Foseco "buy" Thursday, September 13, 2007 7:28:56 AM ET Panmure Gordon & Co LONDON, September 13 (newratings.com) - Analyst Oliver Wynne James of Panmure Gordon maintains his "buy" rating on Foseco (ticker: FEO-GBX). The target price is set to 265p. In a research note published this morning, the analyst mentions that the company has reported its 1H revenues and EPS in-line with the estimates. The strong performance of Foseco's Steel division is likely to act as a catalyst for the company's share price, the analyst says. On account of a 10% corporate tax reduction in Germany, the company's tax is likely to decline from 38% to 35% next year, Panmure Gordon adds." | ![]() rivaldo
13/9/2007 09:18 | Results look ok, I am still holding, think we need a break of 220p for Fose to move any higher - still seems tough resistance. | ![]() wipo1 |
