could be on virt-x. Nothing new there, quite a few stocks are like that.

It may be just a feeling, but this feels like it wants to blow !

Recruiter - with no published estimates I can find my position is based on growth in India and China. Pretty unscientific I'm embarrased to say, I just like the story.

Do you know of any estimates?

Future growth will come from emerging markets specifically China,Turkey,Poland,Czech Rep. and Russia. These markets have a very low utilisation of sophisticated filters and feeding aids and this restricts the quality of the finished product. If they wish to attain the efficiency and quality required to produce higher specification products they will have to buy the companies products.Foseco already has early stage but profitable operations in these markets but growth will provide a substantial market for the company in the future.

Recruiter - These are technical products, margins are 10% ish, profit growth is expected to be 10% in 06 and 20% in 07,this is not a low PE business.Comparable companies trade with PE's between 12 and 14.

IF they make the forecasts they are much too cheap.

I know what you are saying johnrxx99, but another question springs to mind is what sector are these in, support services, construction (much lower pe's) or other ?

not being negative here by the way, just need to sort out all pros & cons.

By being a well run company and selling must have products. The rest is down to economic growth - so what's new. It aint going to double over night but with 4% yield you wont loose much sleep. Nice to stick away and keep the day job.

thanks spooky, just been on the website to have a look.
Long established solid company BUT the growth rate is steady but not brilliant, seems steel manufacturing & requirements (especially in & for China) is at a high..but can this continue, if not then business may be hard....

where can future growth come from ?

It is a world leader in the supply of consumable products for use in the foundry and steel making industries.

Either some mighty big buys or sells going through. Is this post float unloading or institutions stocking up?

I've been through the prospectus and i have spoken to a couple of people who know the business well,if the company achieves the forecast numbers they are at least 50% too cheap. A few telephone calls have confirmed that few people in the market are aware of the company, this is unusual for such a substantial business.

Hi spooky. Yes, there were forecasts - 2007 PE of under 7 on profits of £42m, progressive dividend yield expected to start at around 4%. Current PE on about 9. World-leader, high barriers to entry and 40% gross margins. Chinese operations expected to become bigger than UK this year. Big growth opportunites in China, India and Russia and Brazil. Believes it should have a rating similar to another world leader with similar operations, Spirax Sarco, which is currently on a PE of about 15. I've bought a few.
