From my industry experience no sales guys can sell until the customer is ready to adopt.

This industry is very conservative in changing its production methods.

Fortunately the industry is now in the right mindset to look at Cloud production as it has already successfully adopted Cloud distribution.

It just doesn’t make sense to look backwards guys!

worked on a project for US airline for a while with the aim of improving customer service. it was impressive to see the level commitment (and investment) to make things better for the end customer (just to have them spend less time waiting in customer service areas).

I think most on here agree that Sales of the FBT product have been V Poor, the US sales seem to be improving ie most of the extensions of contracts and partnerships seem to be in the US... Am guessing they are more receptive to change.

How they cannot get a foothold in Europe is a legitimate question?

I was looking at the FBT staff list on Linkedin and of the 40 staff they have, 8 are Research and Development, which begs the question, what are 75% of the staff doing if not selling the products?

IMHO, Mr Krebs is not the problem it is strategy, as the products/technology look sound.

Krebs had nothing to do with town news. Was from the purchase of a long term client.

I remember Jeff Krebs producing some really informative and interesting FBT presentations and his work in association with MSG resulted in an emmy nomination is impressive.

No direct knowledge of him, but he seems a real asset to FBT, to me

Krebs has been in the industry a very long time and I was very pleased when he joined us.

A great asset imho.

Krebs was and is FBTs man in North America. He is apparently extremely well thought of by customers (see the MSG nomination) and technically very proficient (see his published papers). He seems to be the link between IM and the key targets in the USA and Canada, which as he is a Yank and based there is not a surprise. It's also a lot cheaper using him than flying out UK based staff, who after Amsterdam and Sydney ought to be very busy anyway.

I think this must be FBT's first presentation in front of ordinary PIs for over 2 years, I certainly don't recall them doing one since I first became a shareholder (June 2016).
